Kyra Nankivell

After one year of studying civil engineering at UofT I decided my life needed more excitement. In the summer of 2019, I enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Engineer Officer. I am now sharing the journey from civilian to soldier with curious Canadians all around the country! I hope to provide clarity, support those going through the process and provide studying tips for the CFAT exam. I partnered with a company that provides over 1100 practice CFAT questions and a personal training assistant! Support the channel and ace your CFAT at army-test.com/kyra. If you have any questions/comments direct message me on Instagram @explore.caf. Thanks so much for watching my videos! Have a great day (:

All i want is to be a navy Cook and be part of the military. Why can’t I just bypass and do my best in the basic training, but I am still interested, eager to be in military even I failed many times😭 I may not smart in academic but I assure you that I am a hard working and dedicated in my work. Please help me out😭 I am desperate!!!

Yeah people get bottlenecked on the security clearance part. It normally depends on which recruitment center you are in. For example Quebec would book you for cfat, medical and interview then do the clearance while they wait for your spot. But for toronto since its a bit crowded here they are getting a lot of bottlenecks.

Succeeding In the CAF at this point is like succeeding in a beauty contest and the only fucking entry, was you. And the people often left who still enlist, are arrogant and entitled for it, not proud and honourable. If I have to give you a truck and lower the standards to do the thing, I don’t put a lot of stock in you to get the job done when push comes to shove.

Just graduated BMQ and was worried about failing the whole time, ended up graduating as top candidate! Whoever reads this, just give it your all, you’re gonna mess up and make mistakes, but learn and move on. Most important thing is the effort you put in and your attitude. It’s gonna be hard but you can do it, you’re stronger than you think.
