Husband, Father, Christian, Truck driver. SHARING MY EXPERIENCES.
I created The Driver Success KZread Channel because I want to share my experiences as a Husband, Father, Christian and Truck driver.
I want to help provide information to those interested in a career as a truck driver while sharing other parts of my life because I believe life is more than just our jobs.
Currently, I drive for Walmart. If you're interested in a CDL driving job with Walmart, feel free to use me as a reference on your application - Moses Kangave Emp #72112.
You can email me at [email protected] if you have any questions.

@driversuccess This was absolutely amazing! How I wish you could teach at my school 😩😩🤦🏽♀️ My 2 biggest takeaways were to be patient about seeing how the truck reacts, and don’t oversteer, just gradual fine tuning. Thank you so much! ♥️
Greetings Moses hope you are well. They made a mistake on the design on the truck.....😂
I know
you seem like a good hardworking man ,subscribed
I love driving for Walmart it's fun
Greetings Moses hope this text finds you well.. good information
Good 👍, I really want to be a Turk driver
Trying to get it please
The more confident u become with your etd the more u will make and you learn the lanes and where the stores are
Yes. Drivers have been telling me to give it about 6 months to a year then it will be easier
@@driversuccess I’m 10 months in and I’m getting more and more comfortable and my money is going up
Not trying to be Mean but can you even record driving for walmart?
As long as you’re hands free, sure.
Our get pay weekly or it ever two weeks pay?
Every 2 weeks
Best Teacher!
Thank you! 😃
Good day, I'm a foreign truck driver looking to secure a job in the states pls how can i go about it?
You need to get a visa that lets you move to the USA and also have work authorization
@driversuccess okay thanks for the feedback, but how can I get the work authorization to move to the States?
What camera and microphone do you use ?
It’s the Dji pocket 3 creator combo (comes with the mic)
I think it’s cool that they have to wear their uniform, professional.
Do you get a diffrent truck every week?
Yes because I’m on the extra board. I had got a chance to get on a 5/2,5/3 program but I turned it down for now because as a family we had already made some plans for the summer so when the school year starts I will see what they have available then. When you’re on a program, you share the same trucks
He resembles Akon, the singer😅😅😅😅😊🎉🎉🎉🎉
😂😂😂😂
Hygiene is the key in this industry…regardless of the situation….slip seating is a tricky situation with nasty drivers..good job comrade on the road.
I had to withdraw my application after being offered a conditional offer. I hope I didn’t screw myself if I reapply!
I don’t think so.
@@driversuccess I appreciate your informative videos. God bless.
Holy heck. They actually hired this bozo. These fks are seriously taking our jobs
Seems like a lot of sitting and waiting. Love the content . Good luck.
Actually not. They keep us running. They have the loads
@@driversuccess That's great DS. Glad to hear things working out after your first day. Thanks for clarifying.
I will have to bring my own mattress
I'm starting at JB Hunt soon, but I didn't like the inward-facing camera. What are your thoughts?
No one likes it. 90% of companies have it
They tell you is safty for me is for the insurance go down for the stupid camaras
Am at JB am used to it…if you have bad driving habits the A.I cameras will be having a fielding day shooting a good documentary..off duty cover it with a clothe or 🧢

You get used to it
I could never imagine constantly having to redo my bedding.
I drive for a company where only I drive my truck. I’m home weekly and I redo my bedding every week. Some of us enjoying having clean sheets and clean pillow covers.
Man I wouldn’t mind it for the pay 💰
You get used to it being part of the job
I Appreciate this man so much!
Thank you!
Congratulations. I was the Gordonsville VA account for 4 years with an outside carrier. I left in late 2022. I thought about transferring over to Walmart but decided to go regional with Crete. I definitely enjoyed the Walmart runs and became cool with a lot of the store managers.
@grovedwayne390 so Crete Walmart runs better then Walmart private fleet?? Because I’m thinking about switching over to Walmart private fleet
😂
Good luck on your change . Taking care of your family number one responsibility.
Thank you!
That’s amazing man. I just now found out that you are now working with Walmart. I actually applied yesterday for the Sanger location and I’m curious, how long did it take for them to email you or call you back?
For the Sanger location, I applied on a Friday afternoon and they called me back on Monday.
@@driversuccess yes I saw that on one of the videos you uploaded after. I applied for the Sanger location as well as Terrell and Cleburne. All within a 60 mile radius of where I live. I wanted Sanger because it’s only 30 minutes away from home. I didn’t hear back from them but I do have a phone interview for the Cleburne location tomorrow morning. I just pray that everything works out for me.
I just found this content and it is a game changer. New CDL permit getting ready for training school🎉 You explained it and I understand.
Glad it was helpful!
I love been a Walmart driver
What’s going on brother congrats on the job! I have a couple months until I get to my 30 required to apply at Walmart, pray for me homie! This job will change my life, much love
You can do it! 🙏🏽 praying for you
I have seen you at haslet with JBHUNT..you went to Walmart?am still with JBHUNT Kansas City..JBHUNT here has taken over Walmart intermodal..they have bought all their intermodal containers for the rail..
Yes I went to Walmart. From what I heard, Walmart wanted to do their own intermodal but realized they couldn’t compete with JB so they decided to just let JB handle it. Thats why they sold
Greetings from 6080 Tobyhanna Pa first time watching your KZread videos good luck going forward at Walmart remember 1 mile at time we are blessed to work for such outstanding company safe travels
Thank you! 🙏🏽
Did you do your onboarding in Delaware? Got everything scheduled for July 15th a little anxious but excited as well.

@@samjosephm7420 No. I did mine in Garland TX. Yes I know the feeling. It’s a mixture of excitement and nervousness but you will make it.
Keep the wheels rolling brother, so proud of you.
Thank you! 🙏🏽

It’s my pleasure
Is there an aptitude test when signing up?
No
I've watched a couple of your videos and loving your content. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!
This what I want to do OTR Christmas New Years all day and night
You’re a real truck driver then 😀
Great job! I start my first week on my own next week!! 🙏💯👍
Congratulations on going through the process
Same to me brother, I did OTR for 8 years straight. Usually 2 months out 5 days home time. It's been like 4 months local and it's tuff man. But I like been hom3 everyday with family now. God bless my brother
Moses congratulations I think your making the right move get on the 5-2 work week your biggest problem is being away from your family. Walmart has come down on the experience needed. When I was thinking about going to Walmart they wanted 83K miles driven in the last 12 months. Running local JB in Chicago that was impossible to get would have had to go regional for 12 months.
Yes. I remember back in the day they used to want a lot of experience…more than the 30 months they require now.
Wat DC u drive out of? And watch other states do u drive?
I’m out is Sanger Texas
Man . I wasted 10 years working for jb hunt. It used to be good but not any more
Definitely helped me thanks dude I really appreciate this
Glad it helped
@driversuccess I'm a master now lol thanks to you !!
Thank you brother man .
Very welcome
