Class video mate. Looks like Dave is a bit like me - 30 mins from the car and packed for 3 nights for a family of 6 people 😂
@@harrythehikerne haha yep prepared for the worst and 3 nights of it 😂😂😂😂
Lovely camp Mark, interesting backpack. Was the name Wago or Waygo.
@@eamonmcginty1183 it is Waygopacks. They are on instagram. Great packs and very custom.
@@MarkOutdoors_ Definitely worth a look.
Nice one lads 👍
Mark are you mad, The rucksack was £40 and postage was £60, I think the postal people are rubbing their hands together, cheers Mark!
@@markalanshaw4950 hahaha that’s the price from Indonesia. They charge for the weight of the cardboard etc then the shipping. But £100 all in is definitely worth it considering the prices in this country is 3x that plus. Thanks for watching 😊
Lol looks like winter....down jackets wtf. 6 weeks time we are in autumn but it feels like we never left it.
@@ianparker298 summer will never come haha it’s beyond a joke this years weather. Thanks for watching 😊
Great camp 💯👍😊
Loved the drone sunset shot 🌅
Looks like some good crack with the lads this camp man 👍
Lush video Mark, what a laugh 😂 Note to self, cut down on the sh*te I carry 😂
does the frame hurts you after many kilometers of hike?
If anybody snores.....I'd sleep outside....cannot tolerate snorers.....grew up w/a father that suffred fm black lung (coal miner all his life down in NW Spain) a room w/two beds nowhere to escape....Endured until I left to g to the US.....He snored both ways....i and out.....awful.....
Beauty little spot mate, still need to get a camp in here sometime and do something different for a change! 👌🏼 cracking vid as usual 👌🏼 ☀️
@@iiiCallumx it is certainly a stunning spot. Dramatic cliff tops and nice places to pitch too. You need to get up there as they is so much choice. Thanks for watching 😊
Hi, love that spot, I always catch it when it’s wet !!! Noisy with the waves when I was last there. Cheers
@@northumberlandmountainhopper yeah a lovely spot. I agree the waves are really loud against the rocks there and it is as the worst sleep I have had in a wild camp in years. Thanks for watching
Where is the location ? Where would I park to head there
I seen a video by Kuiu Mountain star tent with 60 mph plus hitting it head on and then side on and was solid. No trekking pole support was used in these tests. Now if ever needed it is no doubt going stand 70 mph plus winds. In a month or two I'm going to order the Kuiu Mountain star 3p tent, as the weight difference between the 2p and 3p is next to nothing. I'm not one for testing tents and do not purposely in winter go out in storm conditions. However, nice to know if caught out in a surprize weather storm situation, then I will be confident the tent will stand. Gonna be great in long winter nights having a palace instead of my confined experience with my lovely Fjallraven Abisko lite 1 at 62 years of age lol Liked and Subscribed Great video Mark Thankyou for sharing.
@@mrnobodieswildcampingadventure they are great tents and well made. I love the size it is inside and the storage. On this pitch it showed that the wind can get around it. Since then Lee has tweaked the way he pitches it and it has been solid. But if you were going to go for a more solid version for unexpected gusts you would want to be in the mountain star as it’s piece of mind having more strength. Thanks for watching and also subscribed.
Have you seen the Kuiu storm star? It is more of a 4 season tent compared to the mountain star...
Cracking camp mate really enjoyed it, some great laughs off camera and a nice mixed bag, looking forward to the next one
So that's the views 😅
Yeah 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Good fun video again boys! One gripe Lee's footware!!!! I would never ware shoes rather than boots backpacking over uneven ground, my funniest ever walking trip in the lakes was when my pal came across a huge boggy area I had boots on so was mostly ok, my pal in his shoes was doing a comicle funny run/ dance trying to avoid all the pools of water it was priceless so funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂! These new mini gaiters are very handy and cheap to buy! Would like some feedback on boots v trailshoes! Cheers Mark!
Nice one lads 👍
Cheers mate. It was a canny camp in a nice spot.
Very cool camping video 🥶seems a bit cold in England. Have a great time 🌞
Yeah the summer has come a little later and it isn’t providing much sun at all. Hopefully the weather picks up a little better soon. Thanks for watching 😃
Pity about the weather but the view's were good did Lee not have waterproof socks on 😂 you were up and away early atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
At least I got to see the views this time haha. I think he will get them now after that trip haha I always carry them if I wear trainers. Yeah work the next day but wanted to get out. As I say I won’t die from been tired one day haha thanks for watching
@@MarkOutdoors_ I got some of them socks and a pair of trail shoes for my next hill camp going to try a lightweight camp just need to sort a date I'll message you atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
@@LundysWildcampBushcraft that’s it mate as when I head back or get out my wet socks I then use the water socks. Sure mate send my a message and I will send you my number too.
@@MarkOutdoors_ will be a few weeks time 👍
Top video matey. Good to see the gear without alot of waffle man 💪 happy camping lad.
Thanks mate. It was a good camp with 2 cracking lads. A great spot and pleased I got decent weather this time. Thanks for watching!
Nice 👍
Had a few camp's up there alway busy but cracking place nice tent and not too heavy looks like you all had a good night atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Looks a top spot that. I must get a coastal camp in one day.
Stunning cliffs along there. Great weather and company which makes it even more better
Smashing pitch that Mark, no surprise that it’s getting really popular with campers. If you’ve got any tips for getting the missus out on a wild camp I’ll gladly to hear them!
It’s a lovely spot with very rewarding views without the big hike. Plenty of space to be out the way of people which’s great. My way to get the wife out is to get the weather good, not a big hike in ( no big hills ) and have a tent that’s big enough to sit up in. Shauna complained of the space on the last one but this tent is absolutely massive for 3kg and can sit up in it throughout. Many more camps to come Graham with the mrs and the dog. Thanks for watching and hope you get the wife out soon.
Just back from a great camp at St Abbs. Lovely camp and video Mark and going to get my wife to watch this one as she says she will try one camp with me.
It’s a lovely place isn’t it with the cliff edges and views. Yeah tell her to get out as she will really enjoy it. We enjoy it when the hikes not too big as it keeps the wife happy haha thanks for watching
That's one savage looking dog. ❤❤
He is a great guard dog haha. Little teddy bear I call him haha. Thanks for watching 😊
@@MarkOutdoors_ He looks adorable.
Great video Mark
Thanks Joe 😊
Nice setup Mark. Lush weather as well but I guess the downside of nice weather is more people. Lush views and sunset 🏕️
I suppose the weather brings us all out and easy places always get taken. It’s a great place to camp and the views are stunning. The weather was a little better then when you went haha. Thanks for watching
Think you’re punching there mate.!!
Haha yeah I sure am 😂 she’s a good egg
Great bunch lads out in the great Outdoors 👍😊💯👍
Thanks Darren. They are 2 greta fellas with some good storeys to tell. Thanks for watching!
Yes that was stunning 👌
Thanks you. It’s a great place to pitch up and capture the sun. Thanks for watching and I have also subscribed to your channel.

Cheers jimmy. A lovely spot and time had. Thanks for watching
Smart looking tent that, Mark, clean lines.
Thanks Graham. I am enjoying this tent a lot and will do for all this year too. Tons of space and a strong structure too. Thanks for watching Graham and hopefully see you on a hill soon.
@@MarkOutdoors_ yep, always good to bump into folk!
Mine is over a year with regular use. Still going strong .
Lush spot 😊
It’s a stunning spot. I love a camp in Northumberland as they is so many nice spots. Thanks for watching and hope to see you on a hill some time.

Thanks for watching mate. Hope to see you out and about some day.
@@MarkOutdoors_ I keep looking for youtubers.. 🤞

Bangin camp mate , speaking of bangers there was some decent tunes coming out of them tents😂 love a good moretti gonna have to get a few for the next outing now😁 will take a look at the other channel they seem top men! May that hiking boot R.I.P 😂👍ATB Scott.
Bob loves the radio on when he has a beverage in hand haha. Ice cold beers after a good hike go down a bloody treat mind ya haha. Yeah Dave who’s channel is Cheviot outdoors does 20 mile hikes around the boarder and knows the place well which comes in handy when you want a spot somewhere different as he will know of some good spots. I went straight to go outdoors and got a lovely pair of north ridge boots. Nice gel sole and super comfy. I couldn’t believe they fell to bits 😂 thanks for watching 😃
Nice one Mark two cracking lad's I'm hoping to meet up with them and yourself for a hill camp at some point atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
A good set of lads them and fit as a fiddle they are. Yeah be nice to see you on a hill mate. We will have to sort one out and get a good spot on the border with cracking views. Thanks for watching 😃
Magic😊
Thanks Fraser and thanks for watching 😃
Greta video Mark and a great camp regardless of the weather. Thanks for the promotion, much appreciated 👍
Looked a great camp mate, although I’m not fond of windy after mine and Stu’s ghostly encounter 😂
Haha Wey nar man it was just a Cheviot goat 🐐 haha. It’s a nice spot with great views isn’t it. A good catch up was head despite the weather. Thanks for watching
It's a mint spot - me and Llama Annie camped up there last August (I'm pretty certain I was the first to do a vid from up there 😁💚). It was a really windy night and I was in my Kuiu Mountain Star (tent stood proud), Annie had her Helm 1. As for your mat Mark - I've had similar with my Flextail 05, black marks started appearing (and same as you, only ever fully blown it up with a pump, topped up with breath when needed), then I started noticing water condensation droplets inside the mat, well weird. All I could think was that it had been shipped with trace elements of moisture inside it. Got in touch with Flextail and they're shipping me a new mat out and said to keep the old one, cracking good customer service. Get in touch with BA I'm sure they'll do the same. Lovely scenes the next morning, definitely one for the memory banks. TFS and atb from DVS :)
I believe since the newly built top piece you are. A stinking spot for it mind and what a view too. Yeah I’m going to get it out. Take photos of it and send them over. It was hard to see on the video but the mat is absolutely covered top to bottom in mould but it doesn’t affect it in any way. If they respond with a replacement I will give you a big hug myself on a hill haha. The morning was absolutely cracking with that thick cloud. Thanks for watching and I need to have a catch up on come of your videos too. T
Nice camp Mark. Real tidy gear layout. Shame about conditions but as you say not always perfect.
Thanks mate. Sometimes you just have to enjoy it as it is but it was good to have a catch up with bob and Dave for sure. Thanks for watching 😃
Great vlog Mark and what a cracking pitch, the tent looks awesome. Did you have to seam seal it? Thanks
Yeah it needed seam sealed. It came with 2 tubes of sealant and a 2 brushes. I only used half a tube. Thanks for watching 😃
Great video, i was looking at the kuiu. Needing to use treking poles for strength has put me off of it though.
nice looking tent Great vid ! 👍
Thank you. I like the tent a lot and look forward to using it all this summer. Thanks for watching 😃
@@MarkOutdoors_ how much are they ?
