  • @IvanSkyFlight

    That's a great question. I did not ask that. Having said that, I think extensions would lessen the force felt at the grip, and depending on the length of the extension that might mitigate too much of the force.

    Always helpful to hear from a current GA pilot when looking at these. Was the trimming realistic? Trimming in MSFS on my Honeycomb yoke is very difficult if not impossible. Thanks for what you do for the flight sim community.

    You are welcome, and thanks for your kind words! I did not get to try to trim using the yoke, but I did have a conversation with the developer, and he discussed exactly this. I have one question: Do you have to install Air manager?

  • @IvanSkyFlight
    @IvanSkyFlight3 күн бұрын

    You don't have to. For example, there are several aircraft where their main displays don't have buttons or controls on a bezel. You see this in some of the airliners or even the Cirrus Vision Jet. In this case you can pop out the screens and move them to a different monitor. I also do this a lot with helicopters. Some displays (from within the sim) can even be popped and have touch capability, but other third party apps are needed. Air Manager as of now does not add touch capability to the displays that are popped out. Air Manager only adds touch capability to the bezels or other gauges being emulated.

    I use a metal piece that uses the Alpha/Bravo cover screws to be attached to the top of unit, and then I use the clamps that came with the yoke/throttle to mount under the desk. • @IvanSkyFlight
    @IvanSkyFlight27 күн бұрын

    Two questions: First, is there more than one version of the NX Cub? I see a Got Friends version on the Marketplace. Is that the one you use? Second, without running POPM are you able to manually pop out the display using the right ALT and mouse click?

  • @brentsnoddy1951

    @@IvanSkyFlight Thank you for the response. 1) I am using the NX Cub that came with the simulator full version or at least I think so. I have a lot of stuff from the Marketplace but I don't recall purchasing that one from there or any other external site. TBH I didn't know that the marketplace had the NX Cub. 2) Yes, I can manually pop out the GPS display on the NX Cub and many other aircraft I currently have. I have tried numerous attempts on several aircraft and I can pop them all out but I get failure on every screen on any plane. This made me think there there is another common denominator maybe in the setup of the software, etc. I went through all that and I cannot really see anting glaring at me that would possibly solve my issue. I guess my concern is that the program doesn't work on any plane, which IMO is beyond the scope of your video or comments replies. I downloaded the latest version while watching your video and followed your process verbatim and I still get failed on every screen be it a single or multiple screens in a profile like you showed. I've watched the dev's videos and less the irritating non-verbal instructions, everything was pretty much covered in what I saw in your video. One thing I noticed is that for some reason every attempt to identify a view it seems to zoom the focus on the instrument or pilot's view. Unable to prevent that I tried reducing the size of the popoout all the way down to 50 x 50 to no avail. Frustrated I gave up late last night. Most of this I think comes from the fact that your video is very informative, simple and easy to follow. Grrr Great video BTW. I have watched a few of your previous videos in the past but now I have decided to subscribe to your channel. Thanks again! Brent
