If I wanted to add insulation to this and run electricity to it to use as a 4-season office, not a residence, would I need a permit in Grey county? If there's no plumbing and no one living in it is it an ARU?

It's heartbreaking my city didn't reach out to you guys with ur years of skill, affordability and good materials for a possible contract for tiny homes instead they reached out to a company called pallet shelter which is overpriced and cheaply made 😢

Is that all there is to it? You spent over half the video on views of the outside, advertising, & making sure we realize the doors work. We get it. Yes, the doors in various places are great...love the idea...but how about winter? The place doesn't look insulated at all. Not all your potential customers live in the tropics. And if you really want to build "the tiny house of tomorrow," get rid of the ladder. Not all your potential clients are agile enough for that. The loft ceiling is also very low for those who may not bend so well anymore. The population is aging & costs are going up. Why cut out a growing percentage of possible clients?

I would make that 8'x12' with an 8'x8' screened in porch instead of only 4'. At 8' can cook out and spend time there. Even sleep.

I didn't see the relevance, either. Tiny homes are so easy to build, you can do it in a bikini? The music was too loud, too.

I am interested in your cabins, but I can see how there are some suggestions to change a few things for me anyways! Example; the doors opening inward, bad idea since it can change furniture arrangement & space. The ladder could be the kind that folds on a hinge & against the wall? I think it is good your company is trying to do your own thing unlike all the others building boxes at a very high price! Can't we get back to why we wanted to live in tiny spaces to begin with? I guess when a trend comes along there are those that who want to cash in & it warps into something far more different than the original ideal & reason, right!?

  • @r.j.bedore9884

The door opening outward might be nice for furniture placement, but in many places the building code requires the exterior door to swing inward so that police and firefighters can break the door down easier in an emergency situation.

Love the idea but you need to add Rock Wool for insulation, an entire electrical and water system (with shower, toilet & sink + lights and heating etc), if you ever want to join the big boys of Tiny House Builders that is. Love the Bikini clad models, very original. Am sure you will get into trouble for that when the right nut case see's it and becomes enraged :D Overall a Great Idea that wasn't thought through and was badly executed. Look at INCEDIBLE TINY HOMES for how to go about it the right way. 5/10 for ideas, 1/10 for actually enacting the full potential of the design. I really mean this in a friendly way ! You can do better, I know you can, I can see the potential that is right there !!! You can do it properly if you have a think about it. Good Luck.

You are spot on... People will complain that you cant LIVE in a small house.. You need to have 3000 sqf... You need to pay 10k a year in taxes like them... When did it become someones business what you do on your private property... People in NY City have apartments that are like 200 sqf... THEY live there.. 12X12 144sqf apartments are common in big citys... But buy land and build a cabin or tiny home and the town will freak out or your friendly Neighbors will report you for your lifestyle of home..

@@LiveFreeOrRIP I agree with you on that completely. Not everyone can afford that quarter - half a million dollar money pit. I have seen a fair few Tony House communities springing up, It's good to see the changes that are happening and I hope they continue. I really wish you the best of luck with your Business and thank you for your reply.
