Even when I was a child watching I always felt that these shows felt like snl parodies of kids shows made by adults to have dirty humor. All adults dressing up like sexy kids

I remember in the 80s and 90s, plenty of kids shows had discussions about sex, but they were age appropriate and didn’t sound like porn innuendo like this. Fresh Prince of Bel Air was watched by plenty of kids I knew and Will was hooking up all the time - off screen, of course. TGIF shows featured sexual situations. But the target audiences were slightly older and there was no creepy porn fetish innuendo. The Wonder Years had 13 year old boys buying a sex book and discovering that Winnie was hot. But it was age appropriate and nobody had food splashed on their face to signify a “money shot.” You didn’t have kids being exploited. Everything was age appropriate. Yes, the shows I grew up with had teenage guys chasing girls constantly and discussions about how “fine” they were, but no porn reenactments. At some point, in our efforts to sanitize everything aimed at kids under 16, we allowed creeps to exploit kids by making them engage in all kids of gross things. Nickelodeon’s biggest issue with Zoey 101 was their 16 year old star who they groomed getting knocked up, not all the porn innuendo in the show. They created an environment where that could happen, and then fired an underage girl when it happened. Simulating money shots in a kids show? Fine. A teenage girl having sex, as teens do, and getting pregnant? Hell no.
