In the last few months I lost 20 kilograms. Thats about 44 pounds. I‘ve changed my diet, I go to the gym 6-7 times a week. I noticed how Im happier, more energetic, less sick, and just in general better. I only started my journey and still have around 15-20 kilograms I wanna lose. But once I realized how much fun life is once you get better and lose weight, I don’t see it as a task anymore to lose weight. Working out is fun, pushing my limits is fun, eating healthy and finding new recipes that make my body feel good and satisfied is fun. No matter how much I love sweets and fast food, I love a healthy life way more.

its so upsetting to always see parents in those documentaries talking about their child‘s weight. Especially when the mom said she sometimes wanted to shake him and tell him ‚look what you‘re doing to yourself‘. She is overweight too. She gave him the genes to be overweight. His parents let it get this far in his childhood. A kid isn’t able to understand the consequences. They are just hungry and see food and eat it. They can’t grasp what they are doing to their health. Parents have to do something when they notice their children fatten up. Im overweight myself and Im still angry my parents never did something when I was even younger. Im only 18 and now Im finally starting to lose weight, but not witz the help of my parents. Im doing it all by myself now. But a few years ago I wasn’t able to do it by myself. My parents were the one making tje food, buying the food. Parents have to take responsibility once they notice their children gaining extreme weight in their chidlhood. No parent should ever let it get this far for their kid. And they should also accept the fact, that not only their kid, but most of the time the parents themselves are obese.

I find it ironic, not in a good way, that many of these super obese people have family or friends that are the same size or bigger, pushing these people to lose weight! Don't throw stones at glass houses. I struggled with a friend who literally would tell me to lose weight when she was only 10 pounds less than I am. Then criticized me for getting a gastric lap band. I no longer have a close friendship wirh her because I couldn't take her critical nature. And I'm much smaller now. It is hard to maintain now because of a degenerative health condition. Whatever you need to do to get healthy, do it. Screw those who criticize or enable your bad food choices. You may need to cut relationships if they aren't supportive. Even if they are family.

what the fuck is wrong with the UK? cutting the budget for firefighters of all departments?? that 3 hour wait for an ambulance would be completely unacceptable in the tiny towns with volunteer county firefighters in the US, but in the capitol of Britain? Absolutely absurd.

In Australia every state has different laws for car registration and insurance. Police are not required to check for drivers driving without insurance and or registration unless it’s a police car equipped with checking devices. Also the amount of times I’m stuck behind a car without working brake lights is ridiculous! I purposely change lanes! Police don’t even pull you over for not having working brakes. You can report it to the police station and that’s all.

I feelsorry for the people who choode these "relationships". They must have fairly serious mental problems of their own. Reg gave me chills. Having worked in psychiatry his voice, his demeaner - all of it would have out him on a high alert list, had he been in a sectioned unit. I'm not a psychiatrist but he looked and sounded exactly like a few of the sociopaths I've come across over the years 🤐

Sometimes it's better, not to have things. Some months ago I started to avoid sugar completely, don't buy processed food at all anymore. So much cheaper and the Kilos disappeared without any effort. The added sugar everywhere in the processed food causes that people need to eat more and more of this stuff. I didn't need painkiller anymore since 2 months now. Before I needed Ibuprofen 3-4x per week.

They say the driver is insured not the car. The same in the US. But here is a case where Person A has insurance, and Person B has insurance (Father-Son) both are paying for insurance, but now the Son is driving Father's car and that makes him uninsured? What a racket
