Did this video get copyright claims against it? If so, how did you resolve it?

"an obscure late 90's film" this high school geek just made me feel my age.. Jokes aside; Charlie Kaufman is probably the most interesting film-maker/script-writer, certainly in the US right now.

I don't know enough of them to explain it well but besides Descartes there is also a lot of intentional Kierkegaard & Heidegger. I'm not going to get into that without more study on both of them but, There is also a lot of commentary on 'existential confidence' vs those that do not have such. - Why is everyone enamored with being John? Outside of a being a celebrity--most of the content you would pay $200 is just mundane tasks, shopping for bath mats. - Why did Craig fall in love with Maxine so fast? She simply just sat there in stature. - Why was Maxine able to simply call (in this film) an A list actor and take him on a date? Outside of Lotte's help, that is still very peculiar. Lotte literally references the concept of someone (John) being 'comfortable in their own skin.' I don't think Lotte really was trans. She dropped it pretty quickly, especially as time went on. She was enamored with someone who had existential security, confidence, comfortability. That's why Craig fell in love with a clearly deranged woman, Maxine, so quickly. He was the opposite of her in her existential security. Lotte fell in love with Maxine the same way, with added intensity for her love of being john malkovich as well. If you're unsure what I mean, I suggest taking a look at the scene where they're smoking a joint and talking on the couch. Maxine's verbiage about people who know what they want vs. people who don't (paraphrasing) I think is what started to make this all very clear to me.

So where is Malkovich in reality while Malkovich enters his own mind ? He enters his own head as the real world person and gets spit out like everyone else on the side of the road, but where was the actual…3rd party perspective of Malkovich while Malkovich was in Malkovich?

“When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter the kingdom." - Words of Jesus: The Gospel of Thomas

Hi Andie, I hope you don't mind me contacting you here, it's the only way I can think to do so. I am currently working on a project about a video game (you can probably guess which) that involves looking at the history of achievements of the game's community. I would love to include your 2014 videos in the discussion, but I am unable to see them now. I'd love to talk to you more about this and see if I could once again acess those videos, so please contact me via my email (found on the about page of my channel) so we can discuss this. I hope you're well, and look forward to hopefully hearing from you soon! Best, Guybrush

i dont really know, maybe because since he's inside his own head he's able to see his subconscious or it could be like when you place a mirror in front of another mirror, it creates an infinite loop of reflections, in this case an infinite universe with john malkovichs heh i hope it makes sense cus i dont speak english lol

I think this movie, unintentionally, echoes aspects of modern internet culture. Desire to get famous, by hijacking someone who's already successful. Selling tickets to someone else's mind, is like posting compilations of someone else's clips to get paid. Desire to puppeteer someone else, and to force a celebrity to bend their knee to the mob. The guy whose name is in the title, is not even the main star of his own movie. It's a movie about deranged "subscribers".
