    I too prefer the ones where the colours are all grouped together. And Ice Cream was definitely my least favourite out of all the circle of colours I did. Great video, can't wait to see your puzzle haul!

    I am really glad I finally found somebody who understands my frustration with the calors arrenged in circles and not in sections!! I have a very small collection of puzzles and 90% of them are round so I was so excited about this collection! I feel like the desserts one was worse than this one tho!

    I'm not surprised that the Rainbow Cake is one of your least favourite. Lovely to look at but hard to do. That one was also my slowest to date although I still have another four to do. The puzzle that Clark is referring to is a Ravensburger called Pokemon in Bloom. I shall be interested to see what the new Circle of Colors puzzles are that you have ordered.

    Enjoyable watching on this hot lazy afternoon! I do not like round puzzles so even though I just saw one in it's original shrink wrap at our local thrift store I passed it up. It was a Ravensburger Circle of Colors but none of your 4. I will be awaiting your next unboxing to see if it was one of those. My favorite of these first four is your least favorite, the one here. I don't like pastels so my lease favorite would be the cake frosting one. Thanks for Johnie for the entertainment today!

    Nice job Johnie. I like how you showed that piece cut. Weird how they are on that angle. That one piece was cool that you set aside. I was really waiting in the end to see you put that round piece in but you never came back to it. When I rewound the video I could see it was part of the 2002 date. I really like your explanation on what you were thinking when doing the puzzle. Your years of your Gaming Videos really shows on how comfortable you are on camera. I like your narration of your strategy. I have been doing puzzles for decades and pretty much do them border first then sort colors into piles. Never have used trays. I rarely sort by shapes as I have done so many Springboks that I actually prefer random over ribbon cut. So anyway think you are doing a super job with puzzles considering how new you are to them!! Thanks for entertaining me tonight!!

    I am not a huge fan of random cut because it is harder to shape sort pieces. I definitely prefer the ribbon cut of Ravensburger where the four corners of each piece match the corners of the attached pieces and pieces are in grid pattern.

    You have to be proud of yourself. As I said in a post in one of your videos that I’m also new to puzzling (still hasn’t been a month yet!) and I’ve done 9 Circle of Colors. Rainbow Cake and Pizza are by FAR the hardest of all 18 puzzle in the series. This one took me 8 hours and Pizza took me almost 9 hours. Both with 0 breaks! These are the hardest because both puzzles have that large blue/green section that goes around the entire circle. All the other puzzles have distinct objects that you can separate and build independently. The reason these two puzzles took the longest is because, unfortunately, the only time I can puzzle regularly is after midnight with one dimly lit source of light. I tell you I could not tell the blues and greens apart! I can in your video though. The puzzle I solved in the fastest time (by far) was completed in a properly lit room during the day. My next two solves with be Circle of Colors Mushrooms and then Insects. In case anyone wonders. I’ve done Mandala, Ocean, Donuts, Candy, Pizza, Rainbow Cake, Astrology, Tropical and Dreams. I bought all 18 in my first month of puzzling 😅

  • @JigsawJohnie
    @JigsawJohnie17 күн бұрын

    8-9 hours without a break must be absolutely exhausting mentally, thumbs up to you!! I start slowing down a lot after 2h!!! Also thanks for the comment, I'm looking to do more, after my 4th, I already ordered 4 more I think, I'll open the boxes soon!

  • @xyanthus
    @xyanthus17 күн бұрын

    This one took me 8 hours and 14 minutes 😅. Granted it was in very poor dim artificial light from one source and I couldn’t tell apart the greens and blues. I took too much time squinting at the pieces I should have just moved on. I ended up doing the border and inner border and slowly pieced the blue/ green section. I did it one session so I now know I’m a marathon puzzler.

  • @JigsawJohnie
    @JigsawJohnie17 күн бұрын
