    How long after delivery can you do this? Will this work for mamas who have had their DR for years? Like 5+ years? Or only for new moms?

    As a parent with young kids, this is amazing. So good for stretching and working out the back muscles to balance all the carrying. And just a great general work out for desk sitting too

    I've been taping for DR/umbilical hernia over 4.5 years. Mostly consistent during pregnancy and then more lax during postpartum. I just used your instructions today and I think this was my best KT application. Thank you for the clear description of where to anchor.

    Hi is this the only other option to treat adhesions, other than surgory? I am terrified of having painful adhesions after c section. Most people i know who only had 1 c section say they feel good and no pain.. so no problematic adhesions. What do you think are the chances of having painful adhesions after only 1 c section? What percentage you think??? And if you're unlucky and you get them, will this massage help trwat them??? Thanks!

    Started massaging last night. I have never touched the scar in the past 5 months. Been feeling urgency to pee which has seemed to subside in the past day. Is this sometimes related? 5 months after is the body still healing? The dr never told me anything

    Hi, How often is it recommended to repeat the massage? Daily? Few times a week?

  • @zoeburrows1325

    This literally gives me chills, in a bad way. I had a c section just over 1 year ago and I'm still very sensitive and feel slight pain in my scar. I tried this technique one night and really hurt myself. Literally the only thing that feels nice is when my partner gently rubs and tickles along my scar. I don't think mine will ever be able to handle firm massage like this.

  • @aznlily17
    @aznlily172 жыл бұрын

    Zoe, you can work slowly and do it with the pressure you feel comfortable. As you do more overtime the sensitivity will go away.

    It is. I hurt myself doing it and I'm 1 year on from my surgery. Some women still have scar pain multiple years on. This literally makes me cringe because I know how badly that would hurt me.

    I absolutely adore your workouts! Never seen anything like this anywhere else. One question: not in this video, but in others where we do claim, I get a lot of hip cracking, just on one side. Is that bad? What should I do about it? Thanks in advance! I'm such a BIG fan!!! 😃

    Yah. For now plenty of rest and a heating pad (that helped me tons) and walking. It’s recommended to wait 6 weeks till massage (with a medical release and no sharp pains from doing it).

    I did this for the first time last night and had some very light spotting during the night - good sign, bad sign or probably just coincidence? I had a c-section on 3 June 2021 and a previous one 12 June 2017 (thus about 12 weeks postpartum).

  • @MegansPilates

    Hey, hmmm could be a coincidence. Bleeding between periods is definitely not normal. I would give it a try again to rule out/in coincidence and she’d some light on what’s happening. You’re definitely not too early to start xx

    Thanks for this video. I like the straight to the point talk but lengthy pilates. Just started yoga weeks ago. It helps my back a ton from doing construction and factory work. Keep the close up view so we can see exactly how to do it, that helps. I don't like the super fast intense videos, too much hassle and movement for me lol. keep up the good work. Will show my wife your videos so she can find a comfortable workout. Thanks.

    This is an awesome pregnancy workout. Every pregnant woman should do these! Thank you for the great information each step of the way. I've been pregnant 8 times now and am realizing that these are exactly the areas pregnant women really need to pay attention to. Other workouts are fine, but we need these specialized workouts too!
