Yes. I liked them. Last year I picked up a screw and not one I would enjoy. I had to replace it but I had a difficult time finding one so I changed to a metzler and not by choice. I kinda wish they wore a little better to be honest. Since I have also bought a Harley Davidson. It’s a big electric glide ultra limited. The best tires I have found that work amazing our Dunlop American elite.

Probably one of the worst of Honda's VT/VTX line... a real gas guzzler at only 40mpg You really don't need anything more than 450cc to get you where you're going on the interstate... or anywhere else. Anything bigger, and you're just needlessly burning extra gas with every piston stroke. Just to have acceleration on tap, which you don't need and will never use unless you race on a race track. But if you race, you're not going to be driving a heavy overbuilt cruiser... with low lean angle clearance and poorer brakes.

Looking for a VTX now. What are the main differences with the F model of the 1800 over the others? I love the digital gauge. In same boat as you brother. Rode dirt bikes as a kid and had manual cars. Never got my ML but rode with my father when i would visit him in Florida. He had an 1800 and a Rune. I was really comfortable on both. Lost my father over a year ago and decided to make it official and get my ML now. Found an F model for sale and going to try and snag it. I’m just not entirely clear on what the differences are with the f models. Going to do some research but figured I’d ask here. Safe riding!

I have cobra pipes, cobra fuel manager, and hypercharger, Can't go wrong with Honda quality. Those performance numbers you mentioned were the one's i have heard. There's another dude that did a video of b4 and after fuel management. And he was saying like 0-60 in like 8.4 secs. He musta did that with his grandma riding him 2 up lol. Former Magna owner here. Had a 1999 model. She was a screamer and comfortable, but I felt that the brakes were far too weak. Single disk up front wouldn't be able to slow down enough in an emergency situation, and the rear drum lock-up could cause a low side much to easily. The only shortcomings on an otherwise perfect muscle cruiser. Just my opinion.

I own a VTX1300S and it is truly my favorite bike. The single pin crank (1800 is dual pin) with V&H fools most HD lovers….often people assume it’s a HD. The single carb (re-jetted for aftermarket pipes) is virtually maintenance free and it cold starts with no choke. Yes, the 1800 has some advanced features and I would certainly buy one but my 1300 has that “sound” and feel that’s signature of a single pin crank (HD filed lawsuit against Honda..) Plenty of power. HP isn’t that amazing but torque is very high. Cruisers are meant for comfort and easy riding the miles of scenery, not competing with sport bikes, which pass me (who cares) all day long. It’s disappointing to me that Honda stopped producing this model because I would save for a new one asap.

@@Charlies_Riding_Adventures damn sorry to hear that. Life is tricky at times. I know getting back into the swing of stuff would help clear the mind especially being on two wheels. Hope your future goes smoothly. I'm subscribing now, so looking forward to some content ! I'll be waiting lol

I would love to see Honda VTX1800 vs. Yamaha Raider 1900 vs. Harley Davidson Breakout 1868
