    The PGA TOUR was NEVER necessary. Look at the Masters. Still existing exactly as always. The PGA tour didn't give a CRAP about people playing other tours until LIV. TOTAL HYPOCRITES!!

    Jack's book "Square to Square" was his all time golf gift to all of us. If there was ever a foundation for a golf swing he explaind it well in his book.

    LIV tours primary motivation is to Jam tRump down your throat after you cut off his tournaments at Doral…then you add the forever angry Greg Norman and a slew of idiots with a country’s trust fund and you end up with this mess…that group has no idea what they’re doing other than whatever is disruptive to the PGA tour: until your leadership figures out what’s actually going on here it’s just going to continue: why the PGA didn’t sign them as a sponsor is the real mystery here and where Monahan lost his way…last but not least, your commissioner is getting checks from the saudis which you’ll eventually discover if you ever audit the guy…

    Yeah, four thousand dollars back when Jack was in his prime in the mid-70s would get you a brand new truck!! So it was a lot of money when first prize was $37,000 for winning a big tournament!

    Faldo is an idiot, the wrong way is to aim at the trouble and Jack picked a perfect example with 11 at Augusta. No one aims left there and hits a fade over the water.

    Guess I have to disagree with Jack....If they never played for money, then why turn pro? Bobby Jones stayed amateur and his legacy is pretty secure. Its just now the money available is beyond most everyone's comprehension. I still remember when Tom Watson led the money list at just over $1 million....thought that was an incredible number.

    Never played for the money? I don't remember ever seeing them turning down their pay checks? I think this their way of piling on LIV, which only looks hypocritical on their part. LIV is a pro player tour. It takes care of ALL the players. The PGA tour only takes care of the winners who make the weekend. Jack never had a problem making the cut.

  • @Yiealo6372jd

  • @raybowles8587

    @@Yiealo6372jd How can a pro survive on tour if they don't get paid every event? Every other sport gets paid if they play bad or not. So why golf? You try to survive out there! Making a few cuts doesn't cover spending. This sport only rewards the top players. You can sit on the bench in other sports and still get your same check. Not in golf, you sit, you go without. And you think that is good?

  • @Yiealo6372jd
    @Yiealo6372jd2 ай бұрын

    @@raybowles8587 no one’s forcing them to play golf. Also if you’re on the pga tour, to get there you’ve earned decent money by winning tournaments in the first place, so pga tour isn’t a good example. The players LIV are paying huge money too, are already the best and richest players, not the ones barely making cuts so you can’t use that excuse euther

  • @raybowles8587
    @raybowles85872 ай бұрын

    @@Yiealo6372jd You are so out of touch. They earn IF they win or place high. The average player may miss the cut and not get paid. LIV is also recruiting players out of college now. This guys turn pro to make money, not to just be there. They are away for their family and should be rewarded for their sacrifice. That is why so many golfers don't play the tour, too much time away from their family. LIV corrected that. LIV is a win win for golfers.

  • @Yiealo6372jd

    @@raybowles8587 do you promote liv or something ? 😂yes it’s a shame that players that don’t make the cut don’t make money, but as I said, no one is forcing you to become a golfer. You choose to become a golfer and that’s the way it’s set up so you deal with it. Get another job like everyone else in the world.
