Namaste 🙏
I am Pawan, I returned to India after 15+ years in USA.
My goal is to share my experiences and learnings during the return to India process.
I feel there are many people looking to return to India but can’t because of many unknowns, I am hoping to help them if I can with my limited view of the world🙏
I am no expert but learned through experiences and it was really emotional roller coaster ride for me and family.
Please ask questions or comment so I can talk about specific topics.

Bhai, if I followed your story right... you always intended to return back to India while living in the US. Then why apply for a green card, or am I missing something?
Good job bro! More folks needs ball like you! Majority of NRI's lack balls and have decision making paralysis and follow the herd mindset!! Good on you!
Sir, we are waiting for your new video.
Thanks for sharing and it really make sense of your words
You hit the nail, one one wants to accept this fact but everyone knows
You believe something and you did according to your belief thats bigger than anything in life. Because people think and plan many things to do but not all are achievable
Abe mucchad chup kr
Can you please share school details?
India is worst day to day , If some one get chance move on
10 Cr is good to come back
Very honest and practical advice.. no bullshit !! ❤
Thanks
A major factor that everyone need to consider is the pollution in India. Air, Water and Soil, everything is highly polluted and no one is concerned about it currently. If you have kids, it's something you should seriously consider. School going kids are dealing with lung damage in major cities which sadly is permanent.
anyone in usa shold focus on green card
What about 11th grade student
It will be difficult but a lot depends on willing to move back and settle.
Sir Indore mai bhi child education achi h I think. Child upbringing ke liye Indore better h i think.. I am currently working from home but office is in big city. But I don’t like it there so I stay in Indore…
Thanks for sharing and all the best.
As an Indian born American, I also have a desire to go back to India after couple of years after finishing the college. Every time I visit India, I also have the feeling of not wanting to come back to US, and feel more comfortable and at home in India, even though I lived all my life in US. It’s easier to go to India as I adjust immediately after landing, but coming back to US is very difficult emotionally, as I feel sad and emotional every time, and it takes me like a few weeks to a month to get used to US again. US is great country for education and job opportunities, but India is great country for family, culture, and overall social life.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I agree.
You've raised your daughter exceptionally well. She exemplifies respect, obedience, and a deep connection to Indian values. 👌
🙏
Why no updates coming from u ? R y still in India ?
@Nisha Appreciate you checking . I am in India ; got little busy with life , I will post few videos in coming weeks. If you would like me to cover anything, please let me know. Thanks 🙏
good decision.
Us was nice 20 years ago.. now you are only working like horse and no healt system well retirement is just a dream. I left us and back to my homeland i am so happy in my country.

in India people get respect if they have money
Yeah it is there but not sure how it changes someone feeling about returning back to India.
May I know you email so that I can post my questions"?

Great video. How did she do in learning Hindi. I am planning to move with my son and worried that learning Hindi and academic level will be very hard for him
She is doing ok but we have classes which is helping our kids other subjects kids picked up well.
Thank you for this video sir very useful for me ..
Glad to hear that, thanks
ver bad too less calculation 3 bk is 75k min now ..
Very bad or too less 😀 ? Monk Bangalore rents are definitely high but you can still find 3 bhk in really good community for 65k and cheaper if you decide to choose different locations.
@@no-oneknows9236then we need to spend time in travel and the cost of cab etc
That’s true , if you work in any big city of US like New York City wouldn’t it be same.
Superb video!🎉
Thanks 🙏
I am in uk since last 16 years , we are also planning to move india Bangalore for good., my son 11 years old , hope he will adjust.
All the best, kids are much more adjustable then us. Our elder kid was 11 as when we returned and she adjusted very well.
Good perspective
Thanks
Definitely see how good of a dad you are! Love her confidence and respect!
Thanks 🙏
Totally agree with your views!
Hi. I want to move back to india. Can I shift when my daughter finishes her 10th grade
Sorry I don’t have straight forward answer to your question as It is based on few factors like how much your family is aligned to the goal move of returning to India. School wise there would be challenges but possible. You need to talk to your kid and then decide as this experiment would be risky as well.
Hello, we are also finalizing our move back and this video bought clarity to our perspective about shipping. Im also gonna choose universal relocations for shipping. Just a question - can we send minor electronic items like watches, kids electronic toys etc.. nothing major? Will there be any custom clearance issues ?
We did ship electronic toys in container and there was no custom charged but watched I am not sure about. You carry those watches in checkin or cabin bag in flight.
Neat and clean roads you dont have to lick it.
Moving to india is best solution. India is 1000 times better and good life, good fruits vegetables, lot of sun
I agree , thanks for your comment.
I would have taken it because people tend to get a higher c2c in India if they have green cards.
Masters in agriculture or horticulture (agriculture and horti is stem course). Is it worth it? How is job market for agri or horti? Salary?
Sorry not about horticulture or agriculture. Please check LinkedIn for suitable companies and jobs.

Getting motivated after seeing some of your video. Have FOMO when I think about coming back after 15 years in USA. Let’s see
Best of luck!
So cute. My friends are moving to Indore next month, after living for 15 years in USA. Which school Shubhi goes to? And any recommendations for middle school?
We moved to Bangalore but there are many good schools in Indore Shishu Kunj, DPS , NDPS
Helped a lot
We took this step in Feb this year and moved back to Delhi from Canada with our 2 boys. Elder one is 5 years and younger is 3 months. Initially I felt It was wrong decision but as time goes by I feel that’s the best step we have taken to get out of western trap.
Wonderful, I feel same .
For how long did you stayed in Canada ?
Thanks Dear ...
I cleared all my USMLE exams with scoting in top percentile after becoming doctor in India. Would have gotten post graduation at a decent Hospital. But I left it my USMLE journey. And have started my NEET PG preparation ( Indian post-graduation exams for doctors). Your video had been of great help. Keep making videos, with much more deeper thoughts. Grate salute to you.
Thanks 🙏
Good one mate!
Thanks!
How do you mitigate the issue of compulsory kannada in Bangalore schools, until 8th std? We are from Bangalore and but mother tongue is not kannada and we live in Singapore. My daughter is in 6th std in CBSE school in Singapore. My daughter already has Hindi as 2nd language in Singapore and French as 3rd language. She doesn't know kannada. I came for vacation to Bangalore and inquired at Trio World school which is a good school in Nth Bangalore. The compulsory Kannada as 3rd language until 8th put me off. I feel sorry for Nth Indians who are forced to learn Kannada here. US was better right? Only one language.
We have 1:1 Kannada classes for kids for extra help. It is state education board rule so can’t do much. To my surprise kids picked up Kannada well in few months and we in general don’t complain much about the language and encourage them to learn a new Indian language.
Nice video bro. I heard these days to live comfortably in Hyderabad or Bangalore you need 10 L / month take home income. Especially if you are looking to have luxury car with driver , kids in international school, eating out weekends, maids cooks at home etc. Thoughts ?
Thanks for your comment. 10 lacs per month would be exorbitant , you would be ok with 1 to 2 lacs per month except luxury cars
How was your experience of going back..we stay in Canada..we are in a dialemma to move back or not just about the kids education one is in 5th grade now and the younger one in 2nd grade...if you can share any experience it will be helpful sir..
It was a roller coaster ride , we had mixed feelings when returning back as it was big change for all of us. Our biggest fear was Kids but they adjusted very well. Please let me know if you have specific questions.
dude what? you made no sense. There is a concept of OCI.
😀 thanks. OCI you get when you are foreign country citizen and I was no where close to US citizenship plus I didn’t want to wait 5-7 yrs more after GC and close the doors of return to India.
Wish you got to the point sooner.
Thanks for your comment.
@@no-oneknows9236 I think I should have started with “I love your videos and deeply appreciate the time you put into them” and there are places where it can be shortened..
Good video. It will help surely. Right now in same situation of searching schools and exploring boards. And it was confusing for me in ICSE and Cambridge. I also want my kid to take Indian ways of education. Best wishes thanks.
