I’m in the UK. Parents are no more and Kids have grown up. I do miss India a lot. Lately I find weather depressing esp from Nov to March. It has started to affect me. I’m not old enough to retire but I have taken care of the finances. I’m going to go to India this Nov and try it out. As you said, we have limited time on this planet, there is no point of wasting time.

I agree, most important is taking decision , the time is ticking away and I also wasted too much time in indecision. All the best.
I faced this situation as my mind constantly called me to go back to my home country.

This is one decision no one can really guide you. Very important to be at peace with your decision. I had the exact same feeling before moving back - where do I want to live for the late phase of my life in addition to parents. Main bhi raat ko uth jaata tha yahi questions sochte hue. Friends kept saying ki you can always travel to India when parents need you but honestly it is not the same thing. We are now in Bengaluru and going to spend time with parents is only a 3 hr flight. That is completely doable over a long weekend.

Thanks Kunal bhai for your comment and providing insight. I completely agree that travel from Bangalore to home town is preety easy compare to US or other European countries. Also NO ONE KNOWS what is right and wrong for particular person except they themselves. I would love to connect with you, my email is nooneknowsr2i@gmail.com
Very nice. Another solid talk. Keep it up. Your content is helping a lot and one's.

@@no-oneknows9236 I have a suggestion would it be possible for you to make a separate playlist of all old and famous restaurants, and other important places of your city. Would like to know your perspective about Indore city, and associated unfading memories and moment that you still cherish.🙏

What would you do there? Think of why you immigrated in the first place. Your parents were pleased that you managed to escape. Go for a holiday....if you need to. India does not want you....only your money. Be careful.
I am at same situation...i always think ing about..but i don't have parents and in lows ..but same time fill

Thanks Varsha ji for your comment. There is a vaccum in life after parents are no more. No one can replace them but you would have other relatives with whom you want to meet and cherish those memories. We are are born in India so that connection will always pull us regardless of parents , relatives or our age. All the best.

You covered about parents but it will also depend on where your children are , if they are abroad you will want stay close to them and not go to India.

Thanks for your comment Mike. I agree it is difficult to go back to India when your kids are staying abroad. You would want to be close to them. I feel it is juggling between parents and kids after a certain point and nothing is right or wrong. It is just personal and situational priorities. All the best.

@@Srihatta11 Thanks for your comment and sharing your personal story. I really appreciate it because many can learn and get perspective from our stories. It is not easy to share your personal feelings and open the door for Judgements. I will surely cover my thoughts on same but given the financial background you would be comfortable in India. I feel most important thing is taking decision and things fall in place after that with little difficulties of course. All the very best 🙏
