Just found this interview- thanks to the folks who produced and documented this profound talk with Hillman before he passed away. His name and a book he co-authored were in Rob Brezney's Free Will Astrology weekly email horoscope for Cancerians I subscribe to. Seredipty indeed...I love his take on the imperative for white folks in the US to practice actual cultural humility and dismantling of white supremacy vs lip service to diversity and inclusion (which only further oppresses and widens inequality for the marginalized as well as deepen the dysfynctions, hatreds and divisions of our fractured society). I have to check out the talks he did with bell hooks if those are recorded and somewhere on youtube. Anyway, i have been gifted with discovering soul nourishing gems like this talk this week - thank you Universe!

What a wonderful truth centred presentation. Direct and to the point. This is the central invitation of the Sanatan Dharma and strongly endorsed by great thinkers such as Aldous Huxley, Joseph Campbell, T S Eliot and more. Unfortunately the mainstream of Western thought is completely enamored and under the sway of the adolescent immature love of power, acquisition consumerism and shortsightedness. It is still caught with the unrealistic belief of "you live only once",thus sanctifying rape and pillage of Mother Earth,"let the next generation deal with it". The wakeup call is for everyone!, most so for those who have grand dreams of "saving all those who are not like us". I hope this video will reach the Vatican, and the top Islamic powers that be.

The greatest teacher of peace was given to us from Our Heavenly Father. Unfortunately, as many loving faiths, many use what was to be given as a comfort for our souls was turned into a weapon of profits or short gained wealth and in the name of occupation and genocide. Not all that was told about our past was given only to be rewritten, but if you look through generations, it has been passed down with the knowledge we all carry in our hearts. Ask yourself if you have ever loved someone or found love for the world around you from a tiny pebble or the largest tree. You would know how truth will Excell past over all people who want to devide us or take away what was freely already given. Those who carry the power of gratefulness through respect, dignity, and "peace" know that these truths is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves in this moment and our ancestors, and our future children around the world. We need to be more in touch with peace for ourselves and allow that to spill over onto others. Peace makers are blessed people. "(Blessed people are the peace makers)." We have had so many afflictions silence us not only to ourselves but watching others fall because of this can be very overwhelming and cause generations of problems. What I have learned from many walks of life when you share the peace from the world around you it will also spread blessings. Also that there are many different ways to find it. One thing we all have in common around this beautiful world we call our home is that there is plenty of space for us all that should be our greatest goal achieving to this highest form of love. Find comfort in those who find love in their hearts. Even if you have hardly ever experienced it or had not a chance to nurture it. That, too, is your seed of life. Our Creator intended for all his children to thrive here on earth. In doing so, your soul will also grow with the love of Our Heavenly Father the way he has always intended it to be. 💜

Wise words, that fell on dead ear's for hundreds of years or more Peace once was found in nature , now parking lots lie where our wagons once stood, cities in the place of our beautiful woods, tears in our eyes even tho our life was free, knowing the anguish our children must see, freedom of the indigenous a relic of our past hunted through out the ages they just couldn't last

I believe, maybe in my own opinion, that the doctrine was no more than a front for the insecurity that anglo saxons and Europeans felt amongst the world at the time, I’m sure with the rise of monarchies, kaisers, and kings across the world and the horrors that have been associated with them that, even though it was an example of “robbing Peter to pay Paul” to take territory from natives, they were doing so maybe in light of a grander scheme of protection and in the common good of humanity, that by expanding west, creating a super power, and establishing a society un parallel in the world, they could influence, prevent, and even go toe to toe with the corrupt nations of the world. They knew that as time goes, nations and ideas only grow stronger, and that if the world was overcome by these ideas, it was unknown the devastation that would occur, so to serve its “manifest destiny” and to champion Americas virtuous ideals it would suffer the present for the benefit of the latter, and while the conquest of natives may have looked bad, the termination by American military of countless territory regimes in result of america becoming this superpower may be the silver lining and may have stopped who knows how much harm and wars. It’s also important to note that if Spain or American/Britain did not take the territory, another monarchy would and the results of that would have been far more barbaric than the more hospitable conquest by Spain, since Spain did not always kill the Indians and sought to evangelize them, they considered them as members of the society, the other monarchies might not have been soo lenient as their history can show, it’s a complicated event.

If this was so important to Christians. where in any colonised world is the doctrine of discovery taught in a school ,why was this hidden from the so-called civilised world and why did the christian Catholic church only just repudiate that same doctrine in 2023

The Law will always be Genesis 1:28-29, it was the first instruction given and the only one needed. The Great Spirit Father has spoken, through the Scriptures of the King James Bible. And using the Strongest Strong’s EXHAUSTIVE concordance published by ZONDERVAN. It is revealed. HOW I DON’T KNOW it just is so. The ones who are willing will be the ones that remain on this earth: The little words are the most important ones, like SAY SAID SAIDST IF ALL AT REMEMBER LOVE JUST WISDOM AIR LEAD PLACE and using the first time used rule of the Hebrew language of the different words and the verses associated with them. The ROOT WORD OF EACH WORD. The number of times it is used in the text. I don’t care if you do it or not. But the one above knows who will be willing for he, is known by him. AND INSTRUCTIONS HIS SPIRIT TO HEAR 👂 Learn the meaning of the letters

"The human kills the animals"... If we stop killing the animals we have chance at fundamental change. If you love life you don't want to take life way from others. You have respect for it. So a behavioral psychic feedback loop: you behave as if you respect life, by choosing veganism, behave as though you are not above the animals, and then you will start to feel more a part of nature than being against it. Don't be against the world- don't murder the world. We will benefit by the reduction in cognitive dissonance: most of us actually love animals but we are anesthetized to the truth of what we are doing. So we are killing what we love, and pretending that it is fine. And no wonder we are sick.
