There's a lot of people that"talk in down"on Slip Of The Toungue"but the truth is(if you don't follow any trends that is)it's actually a better album the the 1987 album.Every song is a classic.And it sounds way better then the 87 album.Even with Steve Vai's cheesy guitar playing.

I LOVE THIS!! I just found this video and hearing this song performed is just EPIC!! I wish they were able to do their farewell tour when they were done in the U.K. leg of it but it wasn't to be. I saw them once long ago and at least I can say I did. David is just sexy, I could listen to him just talk! I bet he is enjoying his time now with family, who knows, maybe just maybe he may want to go back on tour, wishful thinking!

Other than the amazing John Sykes, this imho was their best lineup. This entire showed was some Hard Rock at its finest. Doug Aldrich’s back to back solos, Blues For Mylene, then Snake Dance are 6 minutes of a Top Shelf pro on the job. 🤘😎
