Clawhammer Supply

Clawhammer Supply

Want to learn how to make beer? Clawhammer Supply is a channel dedicated to the art and science of home brewing. We also like to have fun and we're constantly trying new homebrew recipes! If you watch our videos, we guarantee you can learn how to make great beer at home that will impress your friends and family. Typically we make all-grain beer using a brew in a bag system, but we do some extract brewing as well. Our most popular videos are on making NEIPA (new england IPA) beer. In addition to beer, we also make videos about cider, essential oils, and more. #beer #brewing #homebrew #brewinabag #biab #fermentation #NEIPA #Newenglandipa #hardseltzer

Theres a place in denver called the beer spa where they literally tea bag you in a hot tub filled with used grains from local brewers and you drink all the beer on tap you like... its amazing!

Raising the PH will not "deactivate" the preservatives. The preservatives have altered the PH to inhibit yeast and bateria growth. You are bringing the PH into the range of life for the yeast.

@@themusicthrills9282I assume he talks about the no chill method. That's possible but you need to account for contact time between hot wort and the hops, otherwise you get a more bitter beer than intended.

Another video that seems to affirm that CaraFoam serves no purpose at all. I've entirely dispensed with it in all my brewing as it seems to do absolutely nothing at all every time I use it. Half the recipes I used to use it in (the pale ones), I just replaced with the same quantity more base malt. The other (darker) half, I switched to using CaraHell which actually seems to help head retention.
