Check your valve covers for forklift fork damage! My JDM 2.0 had a broken valve cover too. My dealer was local, so they gave me another one.

Why not cut it while pulling? Just curious. Love how you did it, have a similar situation and trying to figure the best way. This looks best so far.

I learn from how you not hit the fittings, by using the fork, or by carefully hitting flat top of screw.

I just discovered a similar situation with my engine, FA20, both rear exhaust manifold studs are slightly tilting to the back of the car. The Exhaust manifold gets hung up and cannot be removed easily. Im sure there is a way but I have to find it. Until then I cannot replace the gasket between the exhaust manifold and the turbo inlet which is leaking. On top of the that I also discovered the dealership forgot to put back several things like rubber gaskets, bolts and one of the nuts on the exhaust manifold mount that has been casing a major leak.

Chris, great video! I have been working on this over the past couple of days. I went through it in the reverse order from you. I installed the controller, went into Forscan and enabled the TBC. The controller lights up, allows me to control the Gain, shows "Trailer Disconnected" on the dash, but it showing "Trailer Brake Module Fault". I'm thinking it's because I haven't replaced the master cylinder and it looks like I have to do that as I only have one plug underneath, towards the front, which I believe it for the cruise control. I'm trying to hunt down the proper master cylinder. When I searched the part number you provided in one of your responses, it has the two plugs underneath but mine also has a plug on the side, near the valves. Any idea on how to hunt that down? When I called my local dealership, they only provided me with the master cylinder that came with my truck, which only has the one plug.
