Hey mate, nah got rid of the tinny for a jet ski. Have set it up for fishing and caught some nice mackerel from it. Haven't got the gopro mounting sorted yet. Had a few stuff ups filming but should get a vid up on it soon. 👍

Im keen to get some snapper and reef fish !? apparantly you need a licence 1 day course for like $350 !!! that sux hey. Need to learn the conditions to get through seaway , tides and wind etc . GL with ski

@@fragrr6289 cheers mate, that's awesome, you'll love it. Plenty of close in reefs for small boats. Half the fun is the learning and figuring out how you like to set up and fish from new boat. Great stuff mate! The berley definitely makes a difference, burleying hard and then stopping completely is a good tactic... When you burley hard it gets them in the area and when you stop altogether for a few minutes they swim up looking for more and find your baits 👌 Nothing beats skinless Mackerel nuggets mate! I hope you enjoyed 👍🎣

Yeah, tried for some bass with lures and plastics with no luck. Need some local knowledge i think. They do stock the dam apparently. I love it out there mate, great place to unwind. Fish, swim, ski, camp, fire, beer, steak.... say no more🍺
