Hoping to get a feed of mackerel. Seems they don't work weekends either. Weather and swell has made it tough to get out in little boat for several weeks, so was stoked to get outside and wet a line regardless of catch.

@@samthemanfish6903 hey mate bloody went for my licence yesterday and only got 39/50 questions right in theory test. They sent me away. I can sit test again for a small fee. I was so pissed off 😡
You still fishing in the Tinny mate ?

Hey mate, nah got rid of the tinny for a jet ski. Have set it up for fishing and caught some nice mackerel from it. Haven't got the gopro mounting sorted yet. Had a few stuff ups filming but should get a vid up on it soon. 👍

@@samthemanfish6903 I just got a 3.95 30hp seajay tinny . never had a boat before but was a keen fisher 30years ago as a teenager. Im keen to get some snapper and reef fish !? apparantly you need a licence 1 day course for like $350 !!! that sux hey. Need to learn the conditions to get through seaway , tides and wind etc . GL with ski

@@fragrr6289 cheers mate, that's awesome, you'll love it. Plenty of close in reefs for small boats. Half the fun is the learning and figuring out how you like to set up and fish from new boat. So much local knowledge to access on KZread these days too. I will subscribe and hope to see a few vids pop up. Good luck👍

@@fragrr6289that's no good mate, I got my licence with Phil at Allstate hope Island. He was awesome. I feel your frustration, hang in there, at least once you've got it you've got it. Hope you don't have to drop another $350!!
