Never cross the straps. If one fails/comes unhooked for some reason,the whole works fails.

Definitely not correct way, vdot non approved and a skid steer in Va with an attachment requirement is 5 points, grab handles are not approved tie down points

How much fuel does it use? For example I need it for a day and know it’s a 3 gallon tank , how many hours does it take to have to refill ? I’m assuming I’ll need to add more at some point

You should get around 8hrs on a tank they are very good on fuel. But how you run the machine will affect consumption, full throttle vs 3/4 throttle hard clay digging vs sand or dirt ect..

Paul, this is an outstanding video. I rented one of these from a Home Depot and the rental rep did not show half of what you showed. And when the discharge chute became blocked with some stringy elm, your video showed simply how to access the chute to clear the clogged twigs / impacted sawdust. Your company is very lucky to have this sort of knowledgeable person that is a clear communicator as well. THANK YOU!

4 seperate tie downs. All 4 required. This video is actually NOT a good demonstration of how to hook up the chains. Chains under tension that are touching are an issue.

DOT Will pull you over if they see chains touching, as well as loose chain hanging without bungee cords. And can be really picky and get you if the hook from the binder is on the weld side of the link.

🧐Looks like the best way to do it!👍 A secured load can prevent a pull over from DOT. They pull people over if they spot one thing wrong. Working brakes and trailer lights also extremely important!

Except chaining this way, DOT will pull you over cause it’s cross chained and chains are touching each other.

Yes it is a little awkward spot to get into we use a socket and ratchet is the best way

@@standardrentals6265 The rental shop that I rented from had replaced the nuts with 17mm. I used a open ended 17mm spanner for the bottom one and just a 17mm socket for the top one.

A local family owned equipment dealer has this very model they had as a rental. It never once was rented and they offered it to me for $1500 today…. That’s why I found this vid just trying to learn up on it b4 I just buy it. The things brand new never used sat in a enclosed trailer for 4 Yrs I guess. ??

What’s honest thoughts on this. I do lawn renovations and have came across many many tree stumps in yards.. I like those fact that this is affordable and smaller so can get into back yards ect. I’m concerned tho on its ability to chew through a stump. Does it take forever ? What’s biggest stump you’d say this machine is capable of handling ?? Thanks in advance for your time ..

It will do any size of stump just takes more time the larger it is, as far as how fast really depends on type of tree how long the stump has been there. Also cutting teeth and there condition make all the difference in the world if they are dull your not doing much. All I can say it is a great machine for doing a couple stumps here and there you wouldn't want to be behind it all day, you are doing the sweeping across the stump and pushing it around to get to the stumps it can be a work out.

I'm going to use green teeth on my homemade grinder...its always a good idea to cut the stump as short as possible...a stump grinder is a milling machine..go slow even sweeps..most people don't know how to operate a stump grinder..

It will do any size of stump just takes more time the larger it is, as far as how fast really depends on type of tree how long the stump has been there. Also cutting teeth and there condition make all the difference in the world if they are dull your not doing much. All I can say it is a great machine for doing a couple stumps here and there you wouldn't want to be behind it all day, you are doing the sweeping across the stump and pushing it around to get to the stumps it can be a work out.
