Hi, I'm Sandra, a self-taught wildlife photographer based in San Jose, CA. Since the age of sixteen, I was interested in learning photography, but didn't really pursue it until the lockdowns of the Covid-19 pandemic. I ordered my Sony a7III and have been photographing anything I can with it since. Though I am still learning, I have become very passionate with photographing/filming marine wildlife, especially cetaceans. When possible, I enjoy going on whale watching excursions in Monterey Bay.

So far in my photography career, I have two award winning photographs, one of which was published in the Wildlife for All 2023 calendar, and looking forward to seeing what the future has in store.

I hope that one day my photography inspires others to make changes that will allow these magnificent creatures a chance to last for many generations to come.
