Hey - I am studying with the exam in mind. I find that the textbook is so dense that were I to try and really truly learn everything in there it would take me years. However I find detail in your videos very easy to follow and memorise. For the CSCS - what degree of granularity is needed? If basically remembered everything you said in all your videos that would be sufficient to pass the exam? Thanks so much for the great content.
I love ur vids
the students are hilarious
Informative!
Uhmmm
If ATP hydrolysis created H+ and that’s what causes metabolic acidosis. And not “lactic acid” then why is there an issue with lactate building up if it’s not the cause of fatigue or metabolic acidosis? What’s it hurting?
Too underrated for the value being provided! Don't stop posting these value driven content ❤
you are pefect
Awesome video thanks for putting this together
I am struggling in my thesis, what could be a good study doc? I am more into fitness and exercise , what could be a good research for my class? I am working on my chapters 1-3... I’ve watched almost all of your CSCS videos. I test in 4 weeks.
It’s common to say pull up for pronated grip and chin up for supinated
this would have been good if it weren't so blurry

Background music is so distracting and irritating
Teacher I wanna ask you about the best community college for studying sport sciences in America ??
I'm a teacher in middle school at Algéria, but I want to go to America and study in community college, which is the best for studying sport sciences ??
Hello there! Great content! So thank you for that. Are these videos extremely helpful in preparing for cscs exam?
5:18 LMAO!!!!!
I just want to say thank you, you were a major help in my studying for the cscs and passed it today Thank you
That’s huge my man congrats. Celebrating with you from afar 🍻
Your doing pretty good man, keep IT UP. Don't quit try hardest.
You came out of an orange slit with a billion others, and then you want worship and fame like Christ for inventing every thing before every one woke up. WELL THANK YOU I BOW DOWN to your Ego never.
This was very helpful!! I thought the concept of interchanging hypertrophy and strength mesocycles was interesting! In your opinion would a beginner benefit from a strength block first or hypertrophy?
@DrJacobGoodin the link to the program isn’t working anymore. Anyway I can access the program a different way?
Try now!
Are adductors also working?
In this case they would be the antagonist muscle group.
This video just took from depressed af to feeling a little hopeful about my recovery. can't wait to go to the gym today now!
That coaches note on the "Quality sessions" is super important. You're not gonna do 4 intense interval sessions a week, but "speed sprinkles" can happen in a lot of runs with 1-2 hard quality focused workouts.
🤌*chef's kiss*
Thanks a lot! as a teacher, this is the video that i need
Wtf is this comment section?
❤
real.
I’m sorry but I wanted to ask a question, I’m currently interested in becoming a DPT and specializing in sports but the only problem I have are the cadaver labs. How did you handle it ? Also did you even have to do cadaver labs for any of your degrees and if so at what stage and how you got past it ?
No worries! I feel you on that one. As amazing as cadaver labs are, I'm grateful that I no longer have to spend time in them. Honestly, they are an AMAZING teaching tool and I think all PTs should experience it, but I prefer working with folks whose hearts are still pumping. Soldier through it. At some point you have to steel yourself against thinking of the donor as a person, and realize that the person has passed on and gifted their body to science, which is actually a beautiful thing if you think about it.
@@DrJacobGoodin Awesome way to look at it honestly! Thanks for sharing your advice I truly appreciate it so much and it helped out a lot.
The fact this is free redeems my faith in man-kind.
Great knowledge about bio mechanics sir🫡👊❤️
Im glad you didnt avoid the names of these disorders regardless of what the algorithm has done to the rach of the video, we need this sort of videos on the platform
Bloopers for the win🙌🏽 Great overview video. Short and informative! 😊
Hi Dr Jacob Goodin. I really enjoyed this video. I’m new to running as well and I’m always happy to find out ways to improve my running pace and form. I am a personal trainer and I’ve been in the fitness industry for the past 3 years now. I’ve been enjoying watching your videos as I would like to become and sports scientist/ sports conditioning coach. You have great content for people who like to study even after they’ve graduated! Thank you for sharing 🙏🏽
I'm so glad you're finding value here Jose, and thank you for the kind words! So cool to see you transitioning into sport science as well.
Fun format! It’s great to see your success, Lisa! Good job on the coaching and production side Jacob!
Thanks Jason! Appreciate you brother 👊
Loved this! What a team! Keep up all the hard work!
Erin!!! 😄😄😄
oh my gosh it's Erin!! Miss you both.
@@lisagoodin4278 Loving be able to follow along your journey! Seems like a good time for us to visit SD! We're on the same coast now!
@@ErinGiebner come visit!
Awesome episode! Congrats on the 2nd place finish! I sometimes struggle with thinking that've I already hit my peak in running but listening to Lisa talk I realize that I still have a long way to go as far as gaining experience in this sport. I played football in college and didn't start running until years after I finished playing in my mid 30's. This was motivating to see her still getting faster by following a well thought out program and being committed to process. Keep these videos coming...
🙏thank you @RunJLC! One reason that endurance pursuits are so much fun is that the aerobic engine can keep growing and growing well into your late 30s/early 40s, and if you spent your early years optimizing for strength and power like you did, maybe even longer!
"im gonna take.that out if the video" *Leaves it in like a Chad
Also Schrodinger's Training is crazy lol
Her 2nd Place Kook 10k finish puts Lisa in the lead for the San Diego USATF Road Series! (The scoring system only counts those signed up for the series). Next on the race schedule we have a series of 5ks to cover. Stay tuned!
For 2 seconds i thot you’re the css guy haha
Best video I've found for my purposes. Trying to do EMG study on wrist flexion on a forehand. When I try to palpate my Palamris Longus I feel a lot of activation when I simply try to just grip hard. Which superficial muscle do you think would best isolate just wrist flexion? Thanks for your time!
I hope you are giving a good amount of time to your family and not putting all your energy into your profession. You’ll regret it one day if you are not.
Idk how to make a video
The “wife” look likes one of those plastic Barbie dolls that you see on the toys aisle
Tables 17.1 says an advanced well resistance trained athlete can work out 3 to 4 days per week. However, in the same chapter on a different table, you’ll have less than two months for beginner one to two days per week and then I believe intermediate was still 2 to 6 months 2 to 3 days per week And then advanced was more than a year 4 to 7 days per week
Great - will use your channel as supplemental material for my course.
Agree creatine and caffeine only ones with real world benefit anything else just lines the gyms(and mine) pockets
