It's crazy how my gen 1 fjr runs low 10s bone stock,0-60 in 2.7 seconds helps you understand what fast really is.sometimes I even leave all the luggage on for shits and giggles.

Those Pistol Grip shifters were tough to power shift. Went and bought a Mr Gasket for the 70 Charger. Only needed one tweak and it was "Good to Go"

LOL...so this 383 Chrysler garbage only runs a 12 second quarter mile?? Time to turn some(or many) wrenches here since there are many cars produced in the last 10 years that will easily smoke your 54 year old Chrysler garbage...LOL.

In the last ten years? You mean the girlie cars with launch control and traction control? Old school muscle needed a driver with skills to keep the wheels stuck to the ground and keep the car on the road. Any monkey can jump into the new pony cars and run 10s and 11s. Takes no skill whatsoever. Back in the day, it wasn't car vs car. It was driver vs driver. The fastest car didn't win all the time. Get some wheel shake, come out of the hole late, lose traction coming out of the hole, or lose traction on a shift was the difference between winning and losing.
