    Our company has developed a dual-use display camera set. One camera has two functions: viewing the rear and reversing. If you have time, I would like to introduce the product to you. I look forward to your reply. Thank you!

    We have developed a camera and a display that can be used together to realize the functions of interior rearview mirror and reversing. How can we provide you with samples for testing?

    Great video. I’ve got a 2021 burstner lyseo harmony line. It’s got a great big box on the screen , and I can see that nut and a whole load of wires within, but as it doesn’t have a rear view camera I don’t know how I would install a digital camera as there’s nothing for it to clip on to. Any thoughts? Thanks

    Hi, when you mention digital camera, are you trying to get an accident recorder on to this mounting plate, or a reversing camera system?

    Ah I see, so you would be in need of a universal twin lens camera like this one : www.parkingcameras.com/store/pm63w-premium-reversing-camera-kit-7-dash-screen-top-spec-sony-twin-lens-ccd-white-bracket-camera.html @@DS-fo4ed

    Awesome thanks for the swift reply and info. My camera has 5 or 6 little plastic spacers that were fitted in between each lens and the brackets as well as either side of the positioning disc. Any advice on keeping those in position during assembly ?

    Hi, that does sound unusual. I haven't heard of that type of assembly before. It would be interesting to see what you have. If you pop some photos over to [email protected] I may be able to give a suggestion, I can't promise though.@@user-fm1ml1sk4l

    Great video, thanks. I would have liked to have seen how you routed the monitor cable through the dash. Does the reversing camera stay on permantely, or only when it's put into reverse?

  • @revcamuk9861
    @revcamuk98615 ай бұрын

    Hi, We exited the cable via a hole to the rear of the radio unit cavity. On our install we had Remis blinds, so we ran the cable behind these. If you didn't have the same type of blinds then it would involve unclipping the side pillars (ideally with a trim remover tool to avoid breaking the poppers) and running the cable behind the headlining (this just pushes in behind with no need to remove anything). On this install I had the reversing camera input to the stereo using the additional CAB0020 piece. When using the adaptor set your reversing camera always has power when driving. On the Pioneer stereo we have fitted, there is a camera button, which can be toggled on whenever you wish to view the downward facing camera when driving. If you were keeping both cameras on the mirror monitor then you have full control of when you want each camera to be showing a picture flicking between each camera with the V1/V2 button on the mirror display. Best regards, Martin.

    @revcamuk9861 Many thanks. Now all I need to do is to find the camera plug location on my Bürstner 690g. I thought they would as your video, but unlikely they aren't there 🤔

    I have heard from a couple of people that they have found their connectors hidden in the moulding behind where the Burstner badge is fitted. In fact one customer found that the reason the camera had failed was because the drain holes had blocked and the connectors had sat in water and rusted the entire connector. To look in this section, you will need to take 3 screws off. One behind the Burstner badge, and one on each side of the trim. You will usually need replacement screw covers available on ebay here (not sold by us) : www.ebay.co.uk/itm/173214681685?@@foggie8496 If you do take any videos or photos I would love to see them so I can share with the community.

    @@foggie8496 Have you had any joy in finding your camera plug location? I am in the same position with my 690g and a bit wary of removing anything!

  • @foggie8496
    @foggie84965 ай бұрын

    @sandymerry9172 Hi, yes. I took a few photos, but I'm not sure how you post them to KZread. There is a 13A socket and light switch below the centre over the bed cabinet. You will notice that behind the switch/socket that it's boxed in. This holds the wires for tge soxket etc but on mine, also the camera connection. Simply feel carefully along the vertical sides for a fake wood sticker, one on each side that covers the screws. Remove these and the base will come out.

    Hi, usually it is as simple as undoing the two screws on the outside of the vehicle and the brake light comes off. If it seems stuck after doing this then my guess would be that someone has applied extra silicon sealant around the brake light (possibly when they have changed it in the past).

    Unfortunately not. I haven't seen one anywhere, and I've searched over the years. The factories tend to only produce them when they believe they will sell enough to make it worth their while. The Mark 7 Transit took many years before they produced one for that, despite the fact that the Mark 8 was catered for straight away. @@superkingpaco

    Hi Keith, Thanks for your question. I have a few links to share depending on what part you require. It is worth mentioning that if you have a factory fit reversing camera then it will not work with our equipment. If you are after a complete kit with both a reversing and a rear view camera built in to the reverse light with a 7 inch rear view mirror monitor then the link is : www.revcam.uk/PM39BLBTW-twin-lens-ducato-relay-boxer-brake-light-reversing-rear-view-camera-kit.html If you were after a complete kit with mirror monitor and reversing camera only, then the link is www.revcam.uk/PM39BLB-brake-light-reversing-camera-kit-to-fit-Fiat-Ducato-Citroen-Relay-and-Peugeot-Boxer.html If you were only interested in the screen and screen mounts then you would need the following link :- www.revcam.uk/mon293b-7-rear-view-mirror-monitor-with-2x-4-pin-inputs-for-use-with-windscreen-swan-neck-brackets.html?category_id=103 Best Regards Martin

  • @revcamuk9861

    Hi Carl, on the monitor wiring harness there will be a green trigger wire. If you wish for the monitor to automatically change channel to the downward facing camera when you select reverse, this will need connecting up to a reverse light feed. Please ensure that the camera looking down is currently plugged in to channel 2 (this is the channel triggered when power is applied to the green trigger wire). Feedback from my customers indicate that the reversing light wire can be found in the drivers kick panel, it is a 1mm thick wire coloured white with a red tracer. Just in case there are any changes in colour over time we recommend checking with a multimeter first whilst cycling in and out of reverse to be 100%. Hope this helps. Martin
