    I was hoping you'd cover the actual important technical updates, not the advertised and visible points. Pretty much everything you've said can be easily found online. Can't say the same about whether or not KTM has patched the issues with coolant leakage, camshaft wear, iffy valve clearances and oil pressure sensors.

    I’ve had a scout rogue sixty for about 6 months now. Honestly wish I had done more research and tested one more before I got it. Pros: it’s a fantastic cruiser, plenty of speed, torque. Looks badass, feels badass, feels super light, comfortable seat. Cons: suspension is hot garbage, even after fully adjusting. I feel EVERTY tiny bump in the road and in order to get good suspension, you’re going to need to cough up about 1000$ to get good ones. Because it’s very low, you have to take turns real slow, like abnormally slow, or you’ll scrape your pegs every time because you can’t lean really. Overall great bike, but best for good roads and highway riding.

    Thanks for the summary video - I appreciated the review and the straightforwardness in description. Similar to @emc4TW, I converted my early reservation within the first two days as I believe that this e-moto is going to be a game changer and alter how e-motorcycles are designed in the future. My hope, one day, is that the modularity brings forth more battery power availability (read: >10kWh) and a larger set of wheels (read: wider front, wider back, aimed towards longer-rides). I love the looks, I love the technology, and I look forward to loving the ride when I get it in 2024.

    $13,000.00 plus taxes , title , shipping? assembly? The IC motorcycle dealers sure have a lot of add on costs. It would be great for Local commuting , though at $7,400.00 my Yamaha is already paid for. That gives me most of $5,000.00 to spend on Gas .. . I also have $6,000.00 invested in a Buell . so that was cheaper too .. I did add $2,000 in luggage to the Yamaha that is a lot more than 50 Liters for Groceries.

    I live in Medellin Colombia and it is super steep and hilly here even in the city. Think of San Francisco and 5X it. You will find yourself at a stop or merge on a steep hill with a sharp turn and my understanding is the DTC will stop you from rolling back or stalling your bike. I don't have this bike yet. But it will be my next bike for sure! Great vid!

    Easily one of the most interesting and stylish bikes to come out for years. I haven't given a shit about new bikes from Harley, the Jap big 4, Ducati or Triumph for basically a decade. THIS is obviously a pure motorcycle without a load of extraneous crap.

    I've owned many motorcycyles since 1967 of many makes and models. I currently own a Tri-Glide due to my wife's many health issues. I stopped in a Harley dearlership yesterday to check out the new 975 Nightster. Harley had to get with the program or die, so we now have the 975 Rev MAx and the1250 on the Pam America. But I sat on a new Nightster and it was like sitting on a 8X10 plank of hard wood. The bike is extrememly small and the suspension seemed very stiff. A few minutes later I stopped in a Kawasaki dealership and sat on a Vulcan S. It was very confortable with a very nice seat, the suspension had some give to it, and the tank was just the right size. The reach to the bars was very confortable, everything just fit. So I ask myself, why would anyone spend twice as much to own a Nightster? A bike that is very small, hard seat stiff ride when you can buy a very comfortable motorcycle from Kawasaki? Sorry Harley Davidson, but if I can get my wife back on two wheels, it will be a Kawasaki.

    There's actually 11 things to know....number 11 is that it won't be made for production. Mainly because Erik Buell has the execution skills of a ham sandwich.

    EB has no hands in this... he only owns EB Racing.... they literally said this in the first minute. All of his designs, prototypes, etc were bought from him

  • @repealthepatriotact
    @repealthepatriotact10 ай бұрын

    @@berealz9701 I don't give a sht what they said in the first minute. Erik Buell has the execution skills of a ham sandwich, my point being made by the kind of cool-looking mechanical garbage that destroyed his company. And that Super Cruiser is going to be another Buell dumpster fire no matter who actually manufactures it, simply because no matter who produces the bikes, it's always an execution disaster because of his involvement. This one is hilariously ugly from the start, though....🤢

  • @repealthepatriotact
    @repealthepatriotact10 ай бұрын

    @@berealz9701 I know. That wasn't my point. And if they build anything according to his designs it will be a failure. There's nothing that he can really add that an actual motorcycle design engineer can't do better. The engines and designs are pretty much all there without EB. I don't know why they would take the designs of a failure and try to make another failure......not very bright....and really a step backward....

    Saw a video of top 60 select emotocycles. This one made my top 5 and aesthetically, I love the plain design; that it doesn't look like a transformer with bulging angles and protrusions. To me this thing is plain looking and it looks gorgeous to me. I never grew up a motorcycle groupie so travel-cross country has absolutely no appeal to me whatsoever. I would love to have known about this even 1 month ago before I spent several $ks on a watered down e moto scooter as i could have put the total payment as a down on something like this or the Evoke(also caught my eye). I can understand those disgruntled with noiseless, souless e machines as they are not the essence of how the grew up ... but for me e bikes are a welcome from the hindering drama of clutches and gears which I think keeps the majority of people from ever desiring a motorcycle. This to me opens the door to simplicity and freedom. Can't wait to get one of these and hopefully the price doesn't go crazy. I absolutely love the simple plain design as it is less juvenile and speaks well of a commuter bike(but I am older too).
