How is this game rated a 4.9 on the store and yet I've never seen one fully positive review?
Why was this not released as Early Access?
Unfortunately.... Stick drift has you moonwalking around zombies 😂
Its August 2024 now.... I guarantee their will be another version of this game. I love it on my quest.....but stop remaking this dam game
I play PSVR 1 and its the same as the right
Did you ever figure out how to position the rods at the part at the end of your video? That part is driving me crazy.
If it's the last puzzle in my vid than you need to place the rod with the splitter connection near the door so it activates both nodes
@@VRGRID Ah yeah, I didn't realize one of them was a 3 prong because at the time my brain was mush. Thank you!
how did you solve the valve puzzle
You gotta look for the wheels on the pipes. Pretty easy after that
@@VRGRID it was not easy. For some reason you had to crank them, and after that uncrank them. Who came up with this godawful "puzzle"
The resolution is lower than my age
I'd be pretty pissed buying this game at $30. From the looks of it, $10-$15 might be a little more in line with what you're getting.
You can turn some of the annoying things off and just enjoy the story. You'll still have control of cameras, and bleeping the swearing and controlling the narrative. You just won't have to deal with things exploding and going wrong in the booth. There's a few different endings as well. Depending on your choices during broadcast. Do you play certain adverts? Do you censor certain activists?
Guess I will wait for a proper Quest 3 update with this one. Saw on another channel that the pc version plays way better than the quest port which is a shame cause, while i personally like the art style, it doesn't look that graphically demanding and red matter 2 or also stride fates shows that the quest 3 is capable of more. I feel quest 3 still gets left behind a little bc games still getting somehow made with Q2 in mind instead of focusing on the newer hardware.
I'm hoping it's not optimized for q3 in its current state. I was having fun with this but the quest 3 version still needs a lot of work.
Dang... I preordered the game and gonna Upload a playthrough... So you guys can have a look if the game is good enough 4 you guys. Lets hope the devs dont abandon the game like the quest version of S&S2.
Pretty sure it looked a bit better on PC VR with debris blowing about and whatnot but I might be misremembering, very high frame rate which is not a surprising, still looked very brown and beige though, It kind of reminded me of a low fidelity Rage or when Rage first released on PC all those years ago it had texture streaming problems. I liked what I played apart from in the PC VR demo and think it must have been just a demo thing you didn't turn with the vehicle, you had to physically turn to keep facing the way the vehicle was going, very odd. Thanks for the review. Do you plan on reviewing Arcade Paradise VR PSVR2 version? It is out in less than 10 minutes in Australia and want to know if it uses features of the headset and Sense controllers or if it is just a basic Quest port? I can imagine it might look quite nice in the OLED if it is not a scruffy port, cant find information about the PSVR2 version anywhere .
No plans to check that one out and yeah, I forgot to mention the vehicle thing where you need to turn IRL or use the thumbsticks, which I found to be the easier method
Apologies to Ryan for posting about another youtuber here (although the two are good friends, so I think it's OK 😁) - but Without Parole has just posted his Arcade Paradise PSVR2 review and Bryan was very positive, specifically mentioning the headset haptics. A few dodgy controls aside, the game sounds great.
@@twitcherthesingleplayergamecat Yes I just saw the review, excellent news and there are patrons in the arcade now. Did not watch the whole thing as I wanted to be surprised of what type of arcade game pop up but glad to see it got highly rated. Cheers for the heads up, love it when PSVR2 features are used. Looks like I am going to be doing some laundry tonight haha.
Hopefully it gets a Psvr2 port and at a later date with all quirks ironed out

Quick questions. What's y'all opinion on PSVR2 sales when it got that discount and any opinion on the PC adapter?
Can't get a hold of the PC Adapter yet, every outlet up here is either sold out or not carrying it, though it does sound like it could be a pain in the ass to use for some. PSVR 2 sales is good news as it provided a lot of positive VR PR. Hopefully they permanently drop the price of the headset as it's fairly clear the price seems to be the largest obstacle to adoption.
@@VRGRID Dang, it looks like people either got it before the street date or can't find it at all. Yeah it looks like the PSVR2 is finally getting the attention it deserves.
Oh, hopefully they do fix the bugs by the time it goes on sale because this looks promising. Great review 👍
How do you play saints and sinners 1 on psvr2? I bought it on and it’s saying I need the vr1 to use it
There should be a free upgrade option to the PSVR 2 version. Sounds like you purchased the PSVR 1 version by mistake
Awful review
meh.
Stop talking too fast
no
Absolute masterpiece
meh
i wouldnt bet a dime on joyway doing anything. this is the game's FULL release, its not in early access anymore which was so awful i didnt play it for more than an hour before refunding and I guess the game still is. Ive talked to fans of their other games and joyway supposedly completely abandoned all of them in favor of the newest one. It's a throwaway game company who exploits the lack of quality standards in vr. Should we really be surprised when they used ai generated promotional images?
This is advertising, not a review.
I disagree!
Bro psvr 1 rampart is terrifying 💀
Bored me to tears. Too many puzzles.
this game got me back into VR. The PSVR2 set on the shelf for 8 months. Now I play daily and even bought some more VR games.
This games is the opposite of open world. It is a “do what I say how I say it” puzzle game, with some combat.
I’ve been playing every day since the early access released and it is amazing and 100% worth it. I’d say it takes like 2-3 days until you’re swinging around and slicing napes like a seasoned Scout
I love vr games like this.. And Killer Frequency. Im burnt out on realistic military sim shooters . VR games should be about comfort and ease of immersion Good video bruh
I was just looking at this on Steam. I was kinda shocked to see that it's only garnered one review in the couple of weeks it's been out on pc.
Does it have monsters or ghosts? I don't do well with vr horror. RM1&2 are my favorite games
Late game encounters where u need to avoid robots is about as scary as it actually gets
this video need some rework now you dont need to physicaly grab stuff there a hold hand above item while standing to yoink them so seated gameplay work specialy coupled with ovr advanced setting space grab sad that now you gotta pay for ovr for those who missed it
Can confirm, this game is great. Great physics, and the way they integrate the themes for the levels are awesome.
I think the name is a Star Trek: TOS reference. A warlike race, their leader (named Akka Arrh) gets killed by a rival gang and they save the pregnant wife of the defeated leader. The baby is born and gets named Leonard James Akka Arrh.
Well who knew!?!? Thanks!
Visage is terrifying 😊
Do you know how PC version compares?
I do not, but I bet they are close
@@VRGRID The Quest 3 version looks surprisingly good, almost like a slightly disheveled PC version :) Or like a Quest 3 exclusive.
@@SimplexPL I was surprised at how good this looks on Quest 3!
@@VRGRID Pity the game is not too good, at least according to most reviews.
Interesting
Oooh. I liked Red Matter 1&2, The Room VR A Dark Matter and Call of the Sea. I should probably try this.
Oh yeah, I love Minna no golf
Picked it up for $3 yesterday on steam. Hell yeah.
Mixed reality mode is banging 💯
I'm watching your review after publishing mine, and damn it's crazy how we almost have almost a 1 to 1 same opinion on the game. Absolutely agree with everything you said.
Great minds think alike!
I can’t get past the screen that shows if you want passthrough or not!
I just played thrasher and boy are my arms tired hah. fun game tho
So is this is gameplay of the meta quest 2 release?
Yes it is. I have it on PC as well and it looks essentially the same. - Chris
Thumper was an amazing game that became way too hard after level 6 or 7 for me to complete. Does this one get as crazy difficult as thumper?
Similar, but not as hard as Thumper
I need this on PSVR2
nice video
3:04 Guy's flailing and screaming about like he's being dragged away by agents or being dragged to a mental asylum.
sad to see its going to be a vr only game :(
Well yea, you have Ride 4 and 5 if you want a non VR motorcycle game…
@@extremeencounter7458 true but just Think more players would join the game if it was a mix if flag screen and vr
