Haha! I love that the drone's mouth movements matched up when you were speaking for a while at the beginning of the video. It was like you momentarily embodied it. =)

This game is on every vr platform and the psvr2 version is super broken

So, is the PSVR2 version of the game basically comparable with the PCVR version? I see you gave them the same score. Jammyhero said he loves it on PSVR2 but he did express some concerns about frame drops and slightly blurry graphics. Did you have framedrop issues or were they fairly minor? Awesome review by the way, I'm definitly excited about the game! 🔥🔥🔥

I found both versions to be pretty much identical. Granted my pc could only run the game on medium settings.

Jammyhero has Titels like ,,Best VR Game or Masterpiece" in every Titel of his videos. Hi basicaly just say what devs and you want to hear. Cant take him serious anymoore

Pretty sure this is pretty much the PC version. From what I've heard there is no foveated rendering and very little if any adaptive triggers support

What are the full details of how the game runs? Like FPS, reprojection, any mura effect, etc. thank you for the great review! 🙏

It's supposed to be running at a native 90 fps with no reprojection, but it is definitely having some fps issues with dropped frames. Mura, we have stopped talking about it as it's part of the headset display and has nothing to do with the games. Some games lighting and color palet might make it more noticeable, so try dropping your headset brightness down to help.

They delayed the port a couple times to work on the game so I think they are confident that it should work now

How does this version compare to the PCVR version? (Graphics, textures, clarity, etc)

Not as clear as pc and some textures have been scales back though admittedly I could only run the pc on medium settings but overall I found it to be very comparable.

What if Sony and Rockstar decide to make a VR mode for GTA 6 and make that GTA 6 VR mode exclusive to PSVR 2?

I mentioned the reprojection.. It's definitely there. Otherwise I didn't notice any crazy drops

Big environments has lots of frame rate drops 😢 janky at times. Sale for me

i will play this ..with my beyond when it comes..

Seeing so many mixed opinions on this, I nearly pulled the trigger and picked it up just now, but watching the trailer on the PS Store, it actually put me off despite really fancying an adventure FPS in this style. The music in the trailer was awful, and this game also seems to have the art style of a lunatic lol And yet.... Some people seem to be praising it greatly, technical problems aside I'm so torn. Anyone?

What about reprojection?

You can toggle the gore in the settings. I left mine on and the blood splatters on the environment are hilariously awesome!

Guess I'll wait till they patch the haptics and fps

PSVR2 really stepped up and went beyond what other headsets are doing..the past few games are killer! PSVR2 headsets are selling like hotcakes right now…wait until this game launches ….it will be hard to find a PSVR2.

@@theantsaretakingover You do NOT know if it is or isn't doing well and neither does anyone else. We do know that the Quest 3 isn't doing anywhere near as well as the Quest 2 did.

Was really excited about this game and had it in my basket ready to purchase as soon as it became available, then the waiting began. I now have Resident Evil 4 and what a game, Vertigo 2 will have to wait now until a sale.

Duuuude... The amount of people experiencing all kinds of issues and the multiple patches since launch is definitely concerning. I experienced a few technical issues but none ever broke my game. I can only review what I play and haven't seen anything close to what's being reported. I really hope they fix this asap.

This game was so overhyped, guess I just had my expectations set too high

Because everyone is so horny over HLA that every VR game has to be compared to it. Like we get it half life alyx good. Can we move on from that lol.

Same genre, and because HLA set a standard for quality, but then again it was made by valve, which means it had plenty of funding/resources. This game is made primarily by one person.

The dev is a former Valve employee who based this franchise on Half-life, even going so far as to call the Vertigo series 'Half-like' when he described his own games. The inspiration of HL is all throughout the game, but instead of feeling like a rip-off, it feel like homage.
