Jing Han, you are selfish. You screwed up your entire life and now you expect me to save you. You want me to give up my entire life trying to make the medication to help you recover from addiction. No. I thought the drug laws were harsh but now I realise it’s to punish selfish people. Once you start taking coke you cannot think clearly anymore. You are clear proof of it. I have seen your messages. The boy I used to know isn’t there anymore. You’re already brain dead. Everything you do is only to get your next fix. I can no longer trust you.

I would argue the "outie" (official term of the show) parts are the ghosts of the characters in this show. The "mundane" (my choice of term) life are where the repressed memories and histories really haunt, and this clean, simple, "infantilized" world, the "work" life, is how they chose to live. In other words, we are the ghosts haunting this earth.

Howdy Stanley! Video’s editor here. Thanks for watching and I’m very glad you liked it overall! I used mostly jazz in it because of the show’s iconic use of “defiant jazz” as a genre within the Severance universe. Other than that, I tried to match the emotional and conceptual weight being discussed to specific ~vibes~ in the music. If you think it was a weird choice, then I’d advise you to watch our Barry video as well! Its bizarre!

I really love that scene where the Bolivians raid Hank's parking lot cocaine operation and clash with the police. Also when he kills the Chechen guy who looked up to him in the end of season 2, man that was haunting. I could probably find at least a few scenes like that in every episode.

It's business to business and business to government sort of product. Not the individuals but the technology and methodologies there designing and training. Theirs also the case of the board of directors probably being made up of past lumon CEOs who have uploaded there minds to some sort of shared neural activity emulator that gives them a sort of virtual immortality but I digress. I never watched that show doll house were all familiar with the technology in the matrix that allows neo to know kungfu or trinity to fly a helicopter. we know of star treks borg Jupiter brains and upload heavens? so many ways I could guess they were going with this. besides the visual media it's in the written media as well.
