Western women in general just need to be more cognizant of everything going on outside of them and their lives. The fact that you can turn on your camera and start talking to the internet is part of the problem. Women need to get off the internet. Women meed to focus on their families and communities, because the communities have never been more neglected. Weve never been more self-centred and yet non-sensical as a race.

What a great conversation. Susie always asks the best questions, because you can tell she's read the book and spent time thinking about it. And Robin is always full of wisdom. I liked the reminder that's what yours is yours and can never be taken away. I worked in personal finance for years, and so many people get tripped up on the mindset of wealth before they ever get a chance to build financial wealth. This is meaningful stuff!

Hi Susie, I stumbled upon your podcast after revisiting Shawn's Ted Talk. I read the Happiness Advantage when it first came out but I can say I had forgotten the impact after moving to a foreign country for my husband's work and being isolated. I needed this podcast of yours to bring me back into focus. Thank you for your energy and your positivity and for having Shawn on your program. I have marked your podcast as a Keeper for sure. Thank you again.

This is why we don’t live to please man, we live to please God. And the phrase,” live your truth” really just means that I can accept whatever I want and discard whatever I don’t want. Truth doesn’t work that way. Truth is. It doesn’t change with feelings, emotions, or anything of the sort. Truth is objective, not subjective. Unfortunately, this is why we have a generation of confused individuals, bc they believe they’re “living their truth.” Truth is.. God assigns gender. We don’t. But bc we feel a certain way, we allow those feelings to dictate the way we navigate through life. It’s unfortunate and sad. If you’re looking for truth, it’s in the Bible😊

Found repetitious "reminder" for podcast pop-up too distracting to continue watching. I don't like that it occurred even once, let alone the multiple times it popped-up & distracted my my attention➡is there a way for me to turn it off? Is it intentional, or is is an unusual, error/glitch? Too bad for me, looks like a helpful video.

The mind knows only what it knows( intelligence) and what it can see. Without the senses, the mind would never know what to do. This is why I need to stay neutral and not react to every mental impression. I need to see and be one with all that's above the mind, which manifests as new actions

Did my mother choose to be stressed? She met my father when she was 16. She was born in 1954, come to 2024 and they are still happily married... but as a mother.. they both decided not to have children when they got married. My father was never given a chance to revisit the idea. From age18 till 32, my mother took contraception. Her younger sister came to stay in the same country, worth her two daughter, and from being an aunt? She made that leap. Alone. She stopped the contraception, in secret.. and when I was conceived, my father was furious. To me, she had to have anticipated stress?
