Sorry but your model is wrong! If you attach a part to a reference point and then rotate the reference point, the part will rotate. Therefore the hinge is irrelevant. If all the model changes the orientation, the hinge should continue working, this won't happen in your model because you restricted a reference point to move or rotate at all. The hinge is not working because it is completely unnecessary. Attaching a part to a reference point and then rotating the reference point is not a hinge.

please guys i'm finding a prolem in .psf extension i don't have it in my file types please help
.psf file will not be ther initially you have to create it using notepad and while saving save it as name.psf you should allow extensions of files to be shown in your folder settings....
i had a problem please awnser me : he says that the file could not be located while the abaqus study and all the model files are in c:\temp with the script please help
you can copy paste all the required files to any folder then you can start working from there.

Not necessary if you are not interested in inertia forces, you could use mass scaling option to speed up the simulation but you must check energy balance during simulation.
