In this example we are to simulate a “hinge” using the connectors. We will also learn how to create “display body”.

Can you suggest me how could I proceed with the surface interaction in Abaqus considering lagrangian-eulerian contact between rotating axis symmetric pin and bush in a roller chain calculating the stresses and wear in the bush with a thin film of lubricant between them? Is it possible to achieve this interaction?

Hoe the RP are connected to the parts? Through COUPLING? Thank you!

Yes, it is attached to the part.

Sorry but your model is wrong! If you attach a part to a reference point and then rotate the reference point, the part will rotate. Therefore the hinge is irrelevant. If all the model changes the orientation, the hinge should continue working, this won't happen in your model because you restricted a reference point to move or rotate at all. The hinge is not working because it is completely unnecessary. Attaching a part to a reference point and then rotating the reference point is not a hinge.
