Fight PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety by getting your BUTT on your Mountain Bike!
My name is Tony Carletello, I'm a mental health professional/clinician. We address subjects such as depression, anxiety, and various mental health disorders and how mountain biking can be an essential tool for managing mental illness. Im personally developing a mental health treatment model that incorporates mountain biking to reduce the symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. The goal is to one day start a private practice (NON PROFIT) using Mountain biking as a tool to address various mental health needs.

sir what the size of the frame?
Broooo I finally did it! Thanks man i watched many videos but this actually teached me❤❤❤
Lots of people that are good at things are not good at articulating or teaching them ... this does not make them bad people nor does it mean they are keeping info from anyone some people figure this shot out on their own and some people never get it no matter how it is taught or shown to them
I don’t know what to do due to being on a hardtail meaning I don’t have a rear shock. 3:10

One of the most realistic and sincere instruction on how to jump a mtb. Thanks!
I love the bunny hop part. It’s seems to be hard to learn to do it. I have a question about equal engagement of both forks. I just saw this saying only engaging your rear suspension. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hWaI0NJsZ8XggNI.html
Appreciate it! I still can't jump though, lol
Good to see you. Welcome back!!!🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I might tripping or do I see two rear shock
Just adding you have to drive the front wheel up to get height. Look at the guy on green bike vs you. Almost impossible to use the whole lip doing both the same time. Pinkbike breaks it down in his jump video.
mate you explained like a real master, I have to teach some classes to kids at the bike park and was struggling to find a good way to express it so it can be easily understand and you did it just perfect! thank you very much !
I absolutely love riding with music! My ear buds have a bypass function that can even be turned up so I hear more than I would without them. Usually listen to rock music, seems to fit the cadence and tempo well most of the time. I would recommend against listening to audiobooks and doing zone 2 laps somewhere tho. You will end up doing way more laps than you should and won't be able to walk the next day.
good stuff :)
Thank you sir I appreciate the love
man... excellent...thanks
your welcome let me know how your progress goes.
This guy is hot, is he single?
im totally married lol lol jk jk but for reals though
720 for me !
im going to back to 750 I think
This was very encouraging. I'm also scared of height and after a huge crash (broken pelvis) 10years ago I have crash anxiety as well
I know how that can go. Someone may recommend to start at your comfort zone and do not build up until you feel comfortable. Your body will let you know when it's ready to go to the next level.
highley recommend trying out muc off sealant and orange enduro sealant!
thanks for the recommendation.
What was the second trail they hit after climb and taking the fire road looks so fun I want to do the same loop!
unfortunately I had a guide
Music? Imo, it’s distracting… good vid
sorry and thanks brother.
Cheers!
cheers brother.
Welcome back. I missed why you did not post, now I know. Good you healed up.
Yeah it was bad
Were those old Maxxis tanwalls you were removing off the wheels a different version of tanwalls? They looked darker than both of your new tires.
yes this was true.
Hey brother! Glad to see you doing well and back on the pedals!
Miss you brother
Awesome to see you back brother!!
Thank man appreciate the commen t
I can't do a bunny hop because I'm scared to fall... this man wants me to jump off the ass end of the bike.
That’s not a technique issue that’s a psychological issue 😅
Welcome back! Good to see you.
Thanks brother thanks for checking in 🤙
Welcome back! Been a long time. Back in the day, Downhill: Kickstart my heart, Motley Crue. Uphill: Taylor Swift! :)))
Lol you crazy 😜
Wow, tony. what a great surprise 😲🙏. Great to see you here! You have been Missed. Looking forward for more videos 😊. Welcome back ❤️🔥
What’s up brother hope all is well my heart has been with you guys ever since Oct 7th been following on the daily
@@MTBdropIN All is well brother... I live in North of Israel 🇮🇱 so we have a some "noise" from Lebanon attacking us Daily... It seems like soon the IDF will have to go in full force over there as well... It's insane what Israel 🇮🇱 have to go through 🤦🏻♂️ Thanks for your support 🙏
Woah. Welcome back
Thanks brother
Good to see you back brother.
Thanks brother
Welcome back,Tony! Nice to see you in good health!
Thank you good sir 👍💪
welcome back Tony ! one of my favorite channels !
Wow, thanks, good to be responding to my first comment on KZread again in like two years ha ha.
@@MTBdropIN great stuff bother !

This was awesome, but links would be helpful.
I turned the video off when this clown didn’t remember what bike he even rides. Makes me wonder if he even rides. Hmmmm. Maybe I’ll watch the rest of the video to see if he does or not. Either way, I ride I9 hydra classic rear and DTSwiss 350 front on DT Swiss wheels on my trek fuel ex5. I love the buzz. Ok. So I watched the rest of this. This dude is not a rider.
Thanks buddy !!! Maybe one day I can be as good as you that’s my aspiration 😀👍
Now, anybody try all these on with a clipless pedal and let's talk.
Lol yeah that’s true when I went to clipless it was so hard to keep good technique cause I could cheat all the time
@@MTBdropIN Another thing tutorials fail to mention is, bike geometry and suspension setup. If you're familiar with the Giant Anthem full suspension XC bike with the 120mil front 100 rear sus and a horrible head angle of 66° or so, hopping on such bike might be a real challenge don't you think? the head angle is almost as steep as a cliff & I weigh 106kg.
Dude, this was the video I needed to connect what I was doing and what I needed to be doing to clear jumps. Thank you 🙏🏻
I have hurt myself trying to do one of the tricks that you demonstrated. Can you please give me the name of your Lawyer. Thank you.
What rise did you go with?
You know, I9 doesn't just make Hydra hubs. They also make 1/1 which i have a pair and i love them! They are better than the ones i had. (stout). I think most wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 90 points and the engagement of the hydra using 29er wheels.
so why would you maybe not put invis on an aluminium frame bike? My bike and last bike was aluminiums and only for 1 chip and it was on the lower tube. Is it work just doing that part of the bike the under side of the tube yourself with 3m tape? And leave the rest uncovered? My last bike was brand new all over the rest of the frame. Just got new bike not sure what to do. Thanks
Thank you for being so honest. I feel the same way about jumping. I want to but I also don't want to get hurt. I'm going to try your advice. Wish me luck.
English bunny hop what a load rubbish sorry to be negative but, we have done it the other way you showed for decades that so called English one he done there was something you done on your first ever try as a kid getting the both wheels off the ground that was it or you would land the rear wheel on the edge of a crib and puncture!
Nice but you waffle too much
Very helpful bro, thank you! 🙏🏽 🙏🏽
Blah blah blah
I don't know if someone noticed it but that doesn't look like it's the right position of the oval chainring. alugear.com/img/cms/Oval%20Alugear%20Chainring%20Instalation_1.png
Thank you for the tip
