It always seemed natural to me, especially the corner buildings like Hollydale and Jingles department stores. That way they take up a whole block. If D56 and Lemax won’t make large buildings then we have improvise. I live in an urban neighborhood and many homes are tight together and look very much alike. Thank you for your nice comments.

@@user-zi4qo3xg9k That structure is Lemax City Zoo Visitors, #84854, introduced in 2008, retired in 2016. It comes with an adapter. It is 38 cm wide by 26.3 cm deep by 19 cm high. The mechanism is moving magnets under the figures. Today I see only one for sale on eBay for $255 plus shipping.

Love your village I’m been watching them for the last 3 years when I found them but I have to ask now where do you find your biblical figures? The biblical figures are a mix of Dept 56 Holy Land Collection and Grandeur Noel's Bethlehem Village, everything purchased on eBay. Dept 56 issued an Easter Story Series (thevillagechronicler.com/Collections/HL%20The%20Easter%20Story%20Series.html) you may find interesting. The little figures can pretty much move around for different vignettes.

Bravo!! Just when I thought last years village was the best ever, you amaze us with yet another beautiful production. How do you do it Jim? I love the horse carriages and how they travel down the lane. I never realized there were so many different ones. I see you went back to the old school Lemax car track, always one of my favorite pieces. And I am partial to the replica of me....although these past few months has turned my blonde hair to grey. Glad to please. Once I decided on Jingle Bells (the most common Christmas song), the one-horse open sleighs dashing thru the snow started showing up at my door. They'll be on sale in March. I'm pretty sure my tiny Muse Queen will find her way into each subsequent village from now on. I can paint her hair gray, or you can trade a nutroll or three or some perogies for a hair coloring. My Bethlehem continues to grow, although it will probably be suspended for 2024 (unless a great song comes along). I anxiously await your 2024 masterpiece along with your thousands of minions whose holidays were partially ruined this year. Health would be nice in 2024. In my final checkout at the ENT the receptionist told me about her mother & father who had to retire to manage all their doctors' appointments -- I never thought of that! Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful family! P.S. -- LolaZack08 has another great video. We've spawned a monster.

Thanks! It's the Lionel Aquarium (www.lionel.com/products/lionel-aquarium-6-14105/). They don't make it anymore, but it can be found sometimes in stores as old stock or on eBay. It is powered like all model train stuff by a transformer, an easy purchase find.

Absolute golden nugget of a video. Only thing to consider is the long or short thumb, this needs to be a match up. Not all will need a short thumb. This corrects so many swing floors 👍

Mr Jim has done it again. You have just displayed why you are “One of the best to ever do it”. Simply amazing. I see we have both used the Cookie piece this year but you have taken it and centered an entire theme around it. Outstanding!!! The opening piece - a work of art. As usual, I love the diversity displayed from the figurines to the themes. The girls are a joy to see. Ending with the nativity-heart warming. Well done. Blessing to you and your family.
Lola, welcome to the club! I'm a village beginner compared to you -- my first display was in 2012. I learned mostly by watching KZread videos. The Mills Brothers are from my hometown. My wife & I recently saw Michael Buble and the Oak Ridge Boys perform. Have a Merry Christmas with your family!
Lola, when you find a great Christmas song that makes scenes pop into your head -- like the Cookie song -- you can't wait to build it and video it. Did you notice my little Pammy handing out cookies?
Bravo!! Just when I thought last years village was the best ever, you amaze us with yet another beautiful production. How do you do it Jim? I love the horse carriages and how they travel down the lane. I never realized there were so many different ones. I see you went back to the old school Lemax car track, always one of my favorite pieces. And I am partial to the replica of me....although these past few months has turned my blonde hair to grey. Glad to please. Once I decided on Jingle Bells (the most common Christmas song), the one-horse open sleighs dashing thru the snow started showing up at my door. They'll be on sale in March. I'm pretty sure my tiny Muse Queen will find her way into each subsequent village from now on. I can paint her hair gray, or you can trade a nutroll or three or some perogies for a hair coloring. My Bethlehem continues to grow, although it will probably be suspended for 2024 (unless a great song comes along). I anxiously await your 2024 masterpiece along with your thousands of minions whose holidays were partially ruined this year. Health would be nice in 2024. In my final checkout at the ENT the receptionist told me about her mother & father who had to retire to manage all their doctors' appointments -- I never thought of that! Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful family! P.S. -- LolaZack08 has another great video. We've spawned a monster.

I just realized the relation with you and Pamela W. I noticed the PJ catering sign. Bec I remember she won first place in Miriam's Manner contest for Villager Extraordinaire 2 yrs back & her sign was in the video. I have a good memory for detail lol. I loved her PA amusement park. I think I have come a long way with villaging & happy to see other people's villages posted here on youtube. Cheers!
Pammy and I have been friends and mutual admirers for years. When I drive back east I stop at her place for lunch. The food is outstanding!

Thanks! It's the Lionel Aquarium (www.lionel.com/products/lionel-aquarium-6-14105/). They don't make it anymore, but it can be found sometimes in stores as old stock or on eBay. It is powered like all model train stuff by a transformer, an easy purchase find.

Absolute golden nugget of a video. Only thing to consider is the long or short thumb, this needs to be a match up. Not all will need a short thumb. This corrects so many swing floors 👍
