Hi! My name is Aleksandr Karjaka, call me Aleks, and I'm a commercial photographer at KARJAKA. Here I make videos about all things photography, art business/entrepreneurship, with bits of knowledge from my 20+ years as a professional classical musician, photographer, writer, and Parsons Adjunct professor life here in New York City. I started out building a landscaping and construction business in my early teens to fund my music/clarinet and photo addiction, and I've been building ever since. I play an SK AEVI on my tenor and recently got my hands on a used SK ORIGIN piece. This is the best metal mpc I’ve ever played. It is a Modern Classic - a full, rich sound combined with superb control qualities. True craftsmanship, counts for both pieces I have btw. I feel very fortunate to play these mpcs, they really open new ways for me to find my own voice on the horn.
New challenge for Aleks: how many times can you fit the word “masticating” into one 4 minute podcast?
