What a great video. I have two questions. 1.For the study, are the participants the users of the application that I’m going to design? Or the users using the similar/comparative application? 2. If I’m designing a new app, how do I ask them to do creat a diary? By asking them to use existing competitor’s application? Im not sure about how do adopt this methodology when I design a product for the client who asks me to design a new app for them

This is so good, it almost came across as if it was a no Brainer and common sense. Im new to IT, only just started exploring, and went back to Studies at 40. So this was helpful, i definitely feel i would enjoy UX design more than other IT pathways

No serious user researcher worth their salt thinks surveys are better. Its the weakest form of data and there are many other methods with higher impact with higher ROI. Surveys are only just better than focus groups. I do not agree with the message of this video.
