    can the dnamic airframe take 12S 5000mah lipo?

  • @BertKammerer

    Impossible to say as it will depend on the lipo. The manual, which can be downloaded on the Tron site has the dimensions. Lipos vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Can you comment as to how similar/different the M7 feels to your Advance while flying?

  • @BertKammerer
    @BertKammererАй бұрын

    Very different, the Tron has a very direct and "instant" response feel whereas the M7 is a bit more "indirect" in my opinion, very suitable for precision flying, including precision 3D and sport. Reminds me in some ways to the feel of a Logo machine. The Advance is more of a "smack" machine although of course still capable of smooth and precision flying, but the M7 is more "tame" if you will. Very hard to explain unless you try both.

  • @BertKammerer

    1980 is perfect for an OS engine with that gear ratio, 105 or 91 are the same in terms of RPM. You have the right gear ratio at 8.05, the perfect RPM to put the motor where the most power is will be about 1950, but I run a bit higher so when I load it, it falls into the power band.

    The 50 moves that heli around with authority. I have the electric nimbus and its light. So much so It flys better with a massive 5800mah pack. The videos ive seen it appears like the lighter 50 motor is the way to go on this nitro. My nimbus nitro delivers Friday and I am deciding between the 50 or 55 non regulated engines. I always loved the 50 due to easy to tune no hassles but it has lacked power with bigger helis like the synergy n5c and other larger mid size helis. I cant decide what motor....

  • @BertKammerer

    You can't go wrong with either motor, I like the 50 because it is simple and easy to tune, but you're certainly going to get more power out of the 55, especially if you don't have great pitch management. Hope you keep me in mind during your next heli purchase bkhobbies.com.

    I gave up on nitro when fuel prices rose to 50 a gallon. I flew all my older trex, jr vibes, thunder Tigers and velocities helis always on the 50 before the 55 even existed. Always fun and just enough to have some fun. I remember buying 1 55hzr on my n5c and it was nothing but problems. I'm older now at 56 and just don't fly like I used to. I'm good for 1 or 2 flights and my brain is toast. That video with you after you leaned it up looked very lively. I haven't had a nitro in a long time. I m thinking the easy reliable 50 will be perfect for my flying style nowadays. Shit dude. That video of you reminded me of you flying years ago. You looked very at home with that setup.
