I get "flying is safe" but I get on planes as little as possible. One of my biggest fears is going like this. Or France Air flight 447. Same difference.

He didn't acknowledge the lost souls; and I don't believe he said which flight changed aviation forever, and in what way. There were also some typos in the script. Probably A.I. mistakes.

I think becoming inverted upon takeoff would probably be the most terrifying way to go down, especially over ice cold water.

So PIA pilots could not feather the left propeller because it was not connected anymore? I did not get it from the video. To feather the propeller to avoid drag mostly gots forgotten and leads to dramatic outcomes. If feathering was not possible in this case they likely would not have a chance to rescue the aircraft anyway.

What a shocking cock-up. After de-icing, waiting another half hour in heavy snow before take off allowed more ice to accumulate? Well fkg duh. And this was a known design fault? Words fail me.

There is NO emergency that calls for nose up for 5 min. None! This was intentional imo. He ignored requests to stop multiple times.

Read the complete transcripts that are available. Bonin was told 7 times to F off and not touch anything and yet he ignored all commands and kept pulling back. People assume he was just a horrible pilot and panicking but I think it was intentional.

We can make conclusions after. Crash. But when it happens there is no time for this kind of judgment…. Happens so damn fast. Sadly.

The graphics maintain both engines/propellers maintaining normal function. Since this is computer graphics, it could at the very least illustrate the one engine not functioning.

I will NEVER forget this night. Beverly Eckert died in this crash. You know, Beverly Eckert became an advocate after husband was killed in the twin towers. "Ms. Eckert became a prominent spokeswoman for the families of 9/11 victims after her husband was killed in the attacks." Does anyone remember the case that was to be presented to court back in 2019 prior to all of what has happened since? You know, people who wanted justice in New York? No? Well, i do. And plenty to back it up with. Beverly. She died in this crash. Sure, many others did as well. But i still think it is funny how people in white suits were on site shortly after the crash. I think it is funny that Fema was in New York shortly before that tragedy in September. Like they also were on site in Hawaii not too long ago. Practicing drills. And, as we can see in today's world: if they suspect there is 1 bad guy in some building, does not matter what type of building, church, hospital, mosque, does not matter. If they suspect there is 1 bad guy, there is no problem what so ever to level that building to the ground. Collateral damage is what they call it. And so i would love to know what excuse anyone can bring to the table to counter my belief that this was orchestrated. For to get rid of Beverly. Many died as well. I know. But since nobody cares that much about that in other examples, why would anyone care in this example?

Even if clearance hadn't mentioned holding they should have radioed control and said don't we need to hold it hold a few seconds in case . Only thing I can say about crews audio is that they sounded like lethargic and half hearted on their pre flight check list

The real issue was the thrust lever going back to idle, & maintenance didn't know why. Yet the plane wasn't grounded & the result was catastrophic.

I love aircraft, any type and flying. I thought crashes, especially passenger planes happened rarely. It is dismaying and distressing to see the sheer number of aircraft accidents accidents I've never heard of due to their being outside the US or "First World" Countries...doesn't EVERY life matter?

  • @c7042

The problem was that the repair wasn't done in an approved manner. FAA AC43.13b prescribed an addition row of rivets on the patch so that the pressure bulkhead wouldn't flex the patch and hidden fatigue cracks couldn't start growing. A visual inspection couldn't reveal the cracks but an inspector should have seen that the repair wasn't done in a approved way either by Boeing or the U.S. FAA. Only the flight crew and passengers who died were innocent. The JAL 747 crash was for the same reason.
