  This movie caught me off guard with the level of comedy. You normally don’t see much humor in contemporary war movies, it’s usually heavy with patriotic overtones and is self important.

  I love this! Barry Gordon gave memorable performances in two episodes of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" in 1960: "The Day of the Bullet" and "The Contest for Aaron Gold." He was on the Jack Benny Program the following year. I was just watching "Archie Bunker's Place" on Antenna TV and kept thinking, "That guy playing Archie's lawyer looks so familiar." I had no idea that was Barry Gordon! He had the same face 20 years later.

  Great song, John Payne and June Haver enjoyable actors, John always very good singer in the Fox musicals especially those with Betty Grable. Would be nice to see more of the movie clips musical numbers. Thanks for the video.

  I don't know of anywhere it's available. I had a 15mm film print which I transferred to vhs then dvd long ago, then sold the film on eBay. These clips are from that.

Totally 💯 agree with your comment he took 5 YEARS TO MAKE IT BUT HE WAS DETERMINED AS HE WAS VERY CLOSE TO HIS LATE MOM AND HE SAID AFTER SHE DIED HE HAD TO DO THIS IN HONOR OF HER AND IT MADE HIM DEAL WITH HER DEATH BETTER AND IT TOOK 5YEARS BECAUSE OF BUDGET THEY RAN OUT OF MONEY HE HIMSELF PAID THE CREW AND ALL THE ACTORS TO GET IT DONE ✔️
