Description
Kathie Marie

Hi my name is Kathie Marie and I started my online entrepreneurship journey in 2022 after 25 years in the health care field and burnout. Started off with knitting and crochet but after looking on KZread for more ways to make money online, I have opened my own Etsy store using Print on Demand with a goal to be full-time Etsy seller by January 2024!

My dream is to be that inspiration for other people looking for ways to build passive income online and live a life of financial independence! I will soon have a Mock-up store selling digital downloads on Etsy and sell on Merch by Amazon, Redbubble, Teepublic, Placeit, and Zazzle. If you are looking for tips and tricks to start your own business, then please consider subscribing!

Please put any print on demand related questions into the KZread comments and I will answer your question if I can!

I don't understand why they didn't fit gearing to the winder so it didn't take 13 cranks to do just one round.......madness really..........

The reason it's shiny is cuz it has a film over it. I think you might be gluing your diamonds on top of the film you peel off before putting the diamonds on it

I do this too but instead of the white yarn for my "rip row" I use skinny 1/8 inch ribbon, it slides out smooth as butter when it's time and less risk of breakage or accidentally splitting it and having it try to be one with your project. I have a little baggie of perfect single row length pieces that I use over and over for rip rows.

Ridiculous. You do not need glue. You are supposed to peel off the protective film. I had planned on sending this video to a friend who is doing it for the first time. But clearly you don’t know what you’re really doing. I’ll keep looking for a video to show her how you’re supposed to do it.

This should read How to make Tube Socks. This seems like a machine you would out-grow quickly. It looks like something more for kids. That is very bulky for a sock as it's not tradition sock weight which is okay if you want a heavier sock but that toe doesn't look comfortable but I could be wrong. Nice tutorial but I think I'll pass.

i just tried to fold and attach the cuff like this, and it was too tight. So I undid it, and now a bunch of stitches came loose! I've rescued them all, but I don't know what to do to fix it.

Hi, Kathy, my name is Christi. I just found this video today. I have completed 1 sock so far. The part that we crocheted isn't allowing it to even get to the heal. I know I have big feet! The knit part stretches enough. I'm going to redo it much looser to see if that does the trick. Any other ways I could make it open more? I hope you don't take this wrong but I had a lot of trouble with the lack of sound for such long periods of time. I loved the rest of the video!

You NEVER need glue for diamond art. Now that you've glued the gems to the cover, all of your artwork will just peel off. I realize it's hard to take the clear sheet off, but there is misinformation here.

This is what happens when you don’t read the instructions. 🙄 I have some I made for outdoors and you seal it AFTER… You’re literally sticking the gems to the plastic coating which over time will become detached. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Makes the whole project a little pointless in my opinion… These kits are put together so you can just use them as they are - if it required glue, it would be provided.

The hooks are called needles. The long end of the yarn comes from a skein (pronounced 'skane') or a cake if it has been wound that way.

It might not be as neat but I am going to try this by just casting off normally with lots of excess yarn, I will put the sock on and then tighten the yarn to where it’s comfortable and then tie it off, that’s my plan a so have wider calves, I will let you know if it works

The word is Cinch up the toe. You got a lot to learn about making socks. The top is not a border (a border is on a quilt) the top of the sock is the cuff. Knots in any part of making a sock of any type means uncomfortable for the wearer and possible blisters. Too much work for a sock with no heel. the stitching will hurt the bottom of the foot guaranteed.

I also start from the outside in. Otherwise the side of your hand will stick to it and rub away the sticky, quicker, just a tip.

So you don’t take the film off first? When you peel that off it is already sticky and you don’t need to apply the glue. I just did my first one and just love the diamonds and how much they shimmer. I do the christmas cards, so fun as well.
