The plot in this demo seems weird. The alien pretty much said: "if you succeed you will help us gather data about your kind to destroy you easier". What the motivation of going up with that information? (Well, unless the MC was not a human to begin with. Or those aliens were not the ones invading Earth.)
I think his motivation is that if he doesn't do it then they'll kill him. Also if he reaches the top of the tower he'll earn his freedom (from the Steam page).
@@AlphaBetaGamer I mean, isn't it quite egoistic: being afraid to be killed and wanting to be free for the price of possibly helping invaders eliminate all other humans? (Though, not really sure if this *is* the right interpretation of the plot)
Im really not a fan of that melee animation. It looks like the hit boxes are on your sides and you're ending the attack with a block.

Team of 4 people? Sounds equally as ambitious as the people who tried to make that Elden Ring Dollar Tree edition forget what it's called on steam. Still from what ABG showed to us it looks like NIER/Automata and your typical over the shoulder game had a baby and sprayed it with Lovecraft juice.
Rough around the edges, but it's a tiny team and an Alpha. Looks cool tho.

Video games are a wonderful place for creativity. I desperately want to see more unique games. If only big companies with big budgets were trying to reach our enjoyment and not our pockets.
