We do not offer a built-in micron gauge with our digital manifold to allow HVAC technicians the freedom to choose the most precise and suitable micron gauge for their specific needs. Our engineers believe that offering one inside the manifold sacrifices accuracy due to the connections, hose, and distance from the sensor to the unit. Instead, using a separate micron gauge ensures you can achieve the highest level of accuracy and reliability in your work. Hope this helps!

What is the expected temps a running pump should achieve

Thanks for your question. The normal operating temperature is approximately 160°F, which is hot to the touch. Line voltage and ambient conditions will affect this somewhat. The motor has automatic resetting thermal overload protection. Our Platinum Pumps are designed for continuous duty and will run for extended periods without overheating. Hope this helps!

Great question Unfortunately you cannot toggle between psi to temp on pressure probes you will always have to bust out the pt chart especially for gas your not used to for that is probably the only thing left for this set up to be perfect

Just came in these are AMAZING!!! Got the full kit 2 pressure probe 2 temp probes 2 temp clamps and micron gauge 6 weeks out from supplier … but why does it come in that carry bag ??? use the veto OC 170 carry case

pipe clamps only go up to 2 1/8" pipe not 2 1/2 but thats still great. would be nice if you made a larger version too though

Sir I bought new one 2 stage 3 cfm eliminator vacuum pump motor I am an A/C tech on automobiles...I just want to ask, how much wattage this motor does? Since their's no wattage rating indication on this motor? And what matters most on the vacuum pump is it a cfm capacity or the how many stage on pump? I got the master cool one but this one looks better. The master cool is good, really easy to use but starts leak after like 10-20 uses. The last one I had cracked to pieces. I'm on my 3rd one. I'm going to buy this one and see if it's better/more durable.

The fittings leak, the o-rings fall out and the scale threads strip out. Between 3 guys we’ve went through at least 7. Our scales are rebranded to Penn Chem, but are the same as master cool

Ouch. Ok, so it seems that the second part of the demo (flushing an empty pump) is actually from maintenance section of the manual (page 4) where it says to start the empty pump AND pour 1/3 cup oil into the intake port BUT it also says to just run it for 5 to 6 seconds. The manual doesn't say anything about covering the exhaust port with your hand though but it does make sense to do it. In the Flushing Oil sub-section of the Pump Maintenance section on page 2, it also says to repeat the procedure until the contamination is removed from the oil reservoir, pump rotors, vanes, and housing. Unfortunately, it doesn't say how to check that. All we have on the outside is the sight glass.

Easily the worst gauges I’ve ever used. Plastics all busted up, battery cover broke, no micron gauge, hoses suck and if you don’t turn off it will run the batteries dead.
