  I live in Ponce Inlet and there aren't any cons. You guys are posers. Yes it's exclusive. If you can't afford it you can't live here. Our police are exceptional. There is relatively no crime. It is an envy of most people.

  OB used to be nice 10 years ago. A quiet unknown beach town. It has been ruined by developers greed. Over-developed with new houses construction and apt complexes on every corner. Heavy Traffic (hello Granada) and overpopulated. Trash all over. I actually moved back to NY in 2021 bc I saw how bad it was getting and it has gotten worse bc I am visiting now. Sad what happened. 😢

  Deland, Orange City, Deltona, Palatka, Palm Coast, Bunnell, Crescent City, Oak Hill, Holly Hill, and even neighboring cities within different counties (like Palm Bay) are more inexpensive and more economical. Edgewater has unusually high rent for the area, most of the communities other than Florida Shores are strict 55+ retirement trailer parks with high lot rent and confusing rules. It’s best to choose neighboring cities that are more affordable. Do your research. Also, consider Georgia if you’re contemplating moving down south. Much more affordable and also beautiful.

  I currently live in Myrtle Beach but have traveled to Daytona several times for bike week walking across US1 back to the hotel did happen to see several alligators in the ditch. We made sure to detour around them. Nice area. Been considering moving there but wasn't sure how the automotive repair job market was in the area

  Spent most of my life in Huntington Beach, break for being in the Navy, currently in Texas for work. We may end up in Florida for retirement. I have Galveston about 1 hour away, but I find myself missing the beach and waves. I appreciate you bringing up that New Smyrna is like HB.   @@zumrut8110sanders The bites happen when the water is murky and the shark bumps into a swimmer or surfer...they are like babies they like to put things in their mouth to see if it's food or something else. They are fish eaters to they dont like human blood. The odds of getting bit are astronomically low.

  One of the highest milage rates in the state, water bills are retarded ... I wish I picked NSB instead of Edgewater to move too.. The house prices have become a complete rip off too way overpriced.

  The high water bill is due to the wastewater treatment facility/sewage costs. Before 1996, edgewater homes had septic tanks and the water bill was barely anything. After around 1996 when they put the sewers and treatment fasciitis in, they forced the residents to pay to have the septic tanks disabled and switch to the new system. Our water bill skyrocketed afterwards. The overprice in housing is due to the increased demand for Edgewater. The houses are that price because people up north are willing to spend that much to move down here. This has chased most of the locals out, most blue collar workers can’t pay as much as the retired people from up north can.

  This is the worst place on earth to me so far. It feels like HELL! The people are horrible people! A majority of people have the worst vibes i'm talking about mostly everyone. The words that come out of their mouth are horrible. They mask themselves if they are trying to be nice. And everyone has fighting energy. Even the old. They just mask it and hide all the bad in them. I would never in a million years move out here. It was hell. I got stuck because my car broke down. But i'm getting it fixed. It was the worst month and a half of my life!!! These people are horrible people walking on this planet. Very evil. And it is HELL out here. Never live herre ever! Miami is personally way better than here! And thats crazy. It was the worst people walking on earth here I've came across.

  I got to Daytona, in '78.. 28 years later, I got out.. It was the heat & humidity that nearly killed me.. I handled most of the conditions well, but it you don't have a cash reserve, you might be shafting yourself..

  Hands down one of the WORST INFORMATIONAL VIDEOS I’VE EVER SEEN. Intro should be cut from 1 min to 5-10 secs…the rest of the video should be cut by 75x. GREAT content…piss poor execution. 2 out of 10.👎🏻😕🤔

  Just got back from a week at NSB and the family and i loved it. So much, that we are now considering it. We are thinking about putting our home here in Mesa Arizona up for rent and finding a place a NSB. We love the slow, chill atmosphere for our kids and family lifestyle. Are home insurance rates sky high for beach towns?
