    Used to love Kelly’s but it’s not the same. Not the same flavor on the beef and it’s not tender like it used to be. Never passed up an opportunity to go in but now- never. I just feel broken hearted when I drive by.😢

    What's the average price range for a decent sandwich (assuming that a decent sandwich means that a man won't still be hungry after eating ONE). Are these $5 sandwiches, $10 sandwiches or more? Beef ain't cheap anymore... #Bidenomics

    I grew up in Everett, Mike's roast beef was the best! We never called it "North shore beef" BTW.

    Infantry Vet here. Grew up on the North Shore. You have no idea how many times i'd dream about a super beef in downtime moments. When things got really bad, I added an imaginary pizza roll too! Kings on North St. in Salem was my first stop every time i got back home. Nothing else in the world compares to a Super Beef 3 way. 👍🏻

    Billy's set the tone. Harrison's is gone now. Steve's in malden used to be awesome but is apparently gone now. Now I find the good ones up north. There are some really good ones.

    I am with at Enzo’s 7-Eleven same age. It was always Kelly’s. They also had great clam strips and clams. I worked with law-enforcement every so often we would get clearance for someone to run to Kelly’s for the station for some reason I want to say they were open all hours because I worked overnight I am not a roast beef person, but Kelly’s will always stay in my mind. It was just part of growing up on the North Shore never heard of North Shore beef. They may have Kelly’s back but in my mind, it was always Kelly’s.

    I visited Madrid, Avila, Burgos, and Zaragoza last May. As we were on a tour schedule, I had no chance to go to Toledo. Next year, I must go there for the swords.

    When I lived in Beverly I always went to Nick's ( 7th grade- 12th) I tried others but Nuck's was the best but never got a 3 way. I always got a Superbeef sauce & cheese. What amazed me was they just yelled the orders never wrote anything down and never messed up an order. The shortest line I ever saw was probably 60 people, was in & out in under 10 minutes.

    Nick's and Kelly's are completely different James River sauce... I know for fact is completely different which then Nicks roast beef. But it does look like it. And if their both River Kelly's is a franchise and if theirs was made different and sold and signed over based off of a refused offer.

    I moved to the north shore about 10 years ago. A friend turned me on to Bill and Bobs. I ate there like 10x in 2 weeks. Even he was impressed. As a Danvers guy I now go to The Modern Butcher. It blows away every north shore place. If you're ever in Danvers they have amazing sandwiches. Plus the meat is butchered right in the place. Doesn't get any fresher.

    Do these places have multiple roasts sitting out at room temperature all day? How do they keep it both rare and warm consistently?
