Anika, thanks for the video…could you please try making a technology side video on Product Owner… like how much should they be aware of tech while creating Epics and User stories .. and how they need to coordinate with Tech team to bring their inputs in creating the product work set?

I hear you, this mindset is to avoid burnout & pressure/anxiety. But a side hustle that’s not for money is just a hobby. People who are broke want side hustles because their job doesn’t pay enough or they hate it. If you love your job, do a side hustle that helps you learn skills to be more valuable to the job so they pay you more.

Interesting! I think everyone company and team probably runs a bit differently as my teams have never run a dedicated meeting to triage defects, but totally up to you and your team/product. We did these things asynchronously

Leaving my small tech company after ten years. 20 years TOTAL with this team across three different companies. I was a big fish in a small pond and we developed a short-hand "teach ourselves as we go" internal culture since 2003. We were doing group meetings and all talking daily - very small, not a lot of formal processes. Coming into the job market now I feel like im walking out of a cave into blinding sunlight, and am intimidated by the evolution of PM and Product Development, I dont understand or know the formal processes and feel like a fish out of water. I watched your "What does a product manager do" video and it was helpful because it was an exploded view of a lot of our shorthang, but I still feel frozen in amber and have a lot of catching up to do if I want to remain competitive and valuable to newer, younger companies and startups. The language I was speaking does not translate. Any advice or resources you could point me in the direction of, I would appreciate so much. Love your channel and subscribed.

You are my new favorite channel. I've been in IT for over 25 years, in Tech Program Mgmt for the last 10. I wish I had your insight at that age. But you are so correct about imposter syndrome and having to make conscious efforts to refocus and break the analysis paralysis. I'm 62 and still hold down a corporate gig, but I know they'll shove me out the door soon enough. Watching your channel gives me hope that I can offer my knowledge and experience to help others looking to hack the PM code.
