Transitioning to PM! This is helpful! How do I connect with you for mentorship

thank you for posting this bc I just got into med school after pivoting into tech and I like product so much but I also love medicine so I’m in a career crisis and this helped clear some of it up for me. THANK YOU!

Hello, Anika Could you please advise me a program for illustrating as yours? Thank you! It was the best video I ever found
Sure thing! I am using Procreate with an ipad and apple pencil :)
Anika, you create some of the most useful PM videos out there and your insights are very valuable!! Thank you for your vulnerability and kindness to share your process and knowledge ❤
Thank you so much, this is why I make videos. Appreciate your comment and time for watching 💕
Anika, thanks for the video…could you please try making a technology side video on Product Owner… like how much should they be aware of tech while creating Epics and User stories .. and how they need to coordinate with Tech team to bring their inputs in creating the product work set?
I hear you, this mindset is to avoid burnout & pressure/anxiety. But a side hustle that’s not for money is just a hobby. People who are broke want side hustles because their job doesn’t pay enough or they hate it. If you love your job, do a side hustle that helps you learn skills to be more valuable to the job so they pay you more.
Hello Anika. Can you help with a roadmap to learning product marketing management or boot camp or courses
I have been working on my channel for about two months now. The sky is the limit! Keep going!

I can tell you are authentically using that planner, thanks for sharing the real you 💛
I might have missed but I think you forgot a very important ceremony/practice (Defect Triage Meeting) which i'm presuming should be part of the (Tactical) work
Interesting! I think everyone company and team probably runs a bit differently as my teams have never run a dedicated meeting to triage defects, but totally up to you and your team/product. We did these things asynchronously

Leaving my small tech company after ten years. 20 years TOTAL with this team across three different companies. I was a big fish in a small pond and we developed a short-hand "teach ourselves as we go" internal culture since 2003. We were doing group meetings and all talking daily - very small, not a lot of formal processes. Coming into the job market now I feel like im walking out of a cave into blinding sunlight, and am intimidated by the evolution of PM and Product Development, I dont understand or know the formal processes and feel like a fish out of water. I watched your "What does a product manager do" video and it was helpful because it was an exploded view of a lot of our shorthang, but I still feel frozen in amber and have a lot of catching up to do if I want to remain competitive and valuable to newer, younger companies and startups. The language I was speaking does not translate. Any advice or resources you could point me in the direction of, I would appreciate so much. Love your channel and subscribed.
This is a truly great video! I love how well you covered key topics in an informative way. Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful!
Do you know the name of that layout?
Engineer to Product ❤️
Love that couch!
brand and noise please?
Massive thanks!!
Amazing structure, really enjoy your videos.
You are my new favorite channel. I've been in IT for over 25 years, in Tech Program Mgmt for the last 10. I wish I had your insight at that age. But you are so correct about imposter syndrome and having to make conscious efforts to refocus and break the analysis paralysis. I'm 62 and still hold down a corporate gig, but I know they'll shove me out the door soon enough. Watching your channel gives me hope that I can offer my knowledge and experience to help others looking to hack the PM code.
WOW! What a great video. I recently came across your channel and LOVE it. I'm in Product Management and am trying to wean myself off of the corporate teat.
I love your videos. I’m trying to transition from customer service representative to a product manager. I’m basically doing product specialist duties at my current job and I feel like i have the qualities to be a pm.
I've never thought about planning at the start of each month. I'm gunna try it. I've done daily and weekly, but I do daily most often. Thanks for the tip 🙏
This was very helpful and you are extremely thorough! Thank you so much.
This is awesome!!.
Do you think I can just get an bachelors degree in business and try to get an associate pm role or junior pm role, focus on building experience and then try to graduate to higher level PM roles?
Please do complete review of chisel product management tool..
