  Please explain how the Fx6 is more efficient if they both use the same motor. Look up a replacement motor for either and the description will say its for FX5/FX6.

  The effectiveness of nitrifying bacteria's ability to colonise your media has nothing to do with how porous it is.K1 media is not porous, and its be shown to be the best out there both statically, and fluidly.Porous media clogs easily, and encourages Heterotrophic bacteria which can slow down, and even stall your filter altogether. Bacteria needs a good flow of oxygen so it easily colonises onto media instead of through it. The structure of biohome is to tight to allow the flow of water through the media which the bacteria thrives on.

  Oh dear I commented on another one of the1000 utube videos basically all using the same footage this has gotta be some kinda multi level marketing deal. I mean I get it , it’s awesome filter medium which I am sure will house bacteria but so will many many mediums at a fraction of the cost . It just feels like many of you are trying to blind us with science lol , trust me guys cheap crappy noodles work and always have 😂 haha it is almost Trumps gig ...... create a problem that doesn’t exist and then supply the fix to the none existent problem lololol ....... seriously thou good luck to thatRichard dude , very impressive marketing

  For the people asking how does the water get sucked up in the first one it’s called a siphon, just suck on one end of the hose and aim it down into a bucket, try not to get any water from the tank in your mouth though haha. Also you could put a filter on the end of the hose going into the bucket so you can put the water back in the tank instead of using new water.
