Watched this video hundreds of times, every time just as amazing as the first time. Magnificent driving display no doubt. But I always think to myself, I know you would have passed the sport bike if in the slip stream. Used to have a tuned v45 that would eat similar cc sports bikes. The v96 was a record holder in its day.

I just picked up a 88 Magna as my first bike and I am just so impressed with it. It's so easy to ride and just unique bike, I love it. Hope yours is still running well for you.

I have an 85 V 65 Magna and have not taken it past 7,000 RPM. Honestly, the bike scares the shit out of me. I only put 64.8 miles on it so far this year. Thank god I have 6 other bikes. The bike I keep at the house is a '91 750 CB Nighthawk which I do most of my riding on. Maybe next year........

@@robertscheinost179 You got to go above it at least once! The bike truly opens up even more at 7300. I've been eyeing a Nighthawk 750 lately as something a little easier to find parts and to commute to/from work with as the Magna is near impossible to get parts for.

Maybe next year. I collect BMW pre '79 bikes, 75 BHP at most so I need to hang on for dear life. When I first got the bike and felt the power of the V 65 all I could think of is my 70 year old bones hitting the pavement. I would have to do over 7,000 rpm in 500 rpm increases. The guy that sold me the bike said it REALLY comes on at 7,000 rpm so I got scared. Ride safe!@@shadyss96

I have a manga 65v 1100cc they are a lovely bike comfortable and great power to had it at 150 Miles per hour and still had more mph left in it great for Long distances to literally can't say enough good things about the magna had the 750 to that was great to

Those sportsbikes are screaming, the v4 is just potting. Driving it quite hard. Going fast. Taking the average sportriders too. The last one there he was not average……. He took it personalet😋

Why go into 5th? You were gaining, until you changed....I would have left it in 4th and took it right up to the knuckle. Much more acceleration in 4th. Wind resistance gets you at 120 in 5th. I'll have to check, and see what I can get in 4th..

I got almost up to redline in 4th, switched to 5th, and then the katana 600 clicked into 6th. I wouldn't have overtaken him, but i was happy how well i gained on him up until that point. 😁

I changed my Honda Shadow ACE 1100cc for a Magna 750, and I can Say that magna is an amazing bike!! Too much power!! Fun to ride!! I just love it!!!!

I have a 95 VF750c that I bought new in 1995. Only 17,000 miles on it and have never had any issues with it. Love this bike.

The best part about this video is the power of this bike. The WORST part of this video is that you acted irrisponsibly by driving recklessly and passing on the solid lines! Plus, your attitude toward the other riders really stunk!

Yes, the bike is plenty powerful. If you didn't like that riding, consider yourself fortunate I didn't record myself riding an SV1000 in the same area. And the other riders would disagree with you.

Anyone who rides like that should not be allowed to have a bike licence, and if I was a traffic cop, riders would be heavily fined for that kind of riding. You took that bike wayyyyy past its capabities like a madman. That bike at the end was probably pissed he got caught like that. If you were on the old V65...you would have killed him but yoj would have died in the curves. Hahaha

The V65 is where its at. The 2nd gen 750 was okay..and had the better oiling system..but the old 65...it would snap your neck

i had a 94' but had to sell it because it was too small for me because i always sat on that upstanding edgde on the seat, so after 30 minutes i got litteraly butt hurt. And it needed a windshield because above 90mph you really need to hold on to the handlebars to not get blown off the bike. But it sure was the best looking bike. 4 cilinders, 4 valves per cilinder, 4 carburators and 4 exhaust pipes and tons of chrome. I made red led strips under the tank so that they are out of sight, but did shine on the engine and chrome parts, and looked like as if the engine was glowing red hot.

I believe they were cobra drag pipes. Running #42 pilots and #108 mains, i got about 32mpg. I had no idea those pipes were so rare...
