Took the shroud off mine for a while, became a wearable 42mm. But had to put it back due it being so much a part of the design.😬

I always thought the Timex had a screw down crown?
Obviously here we are not talking about the best Seiko, but on this occasion I think the Timex is a better option in general terms

Is it just me, or is the logo too busy? The word automatic also takes away from the look. If needed, automatic could be hidden on the edge.

A very late comment, but I think if you screw the screws back in directly to the case without the shroud, the watch would look great.

This watch in all steel would be a market killer IMO. There would be no reason to buy something like a prx 35mm quartz

Hands down, Citizen. The Presage is a bit on the plain side. The Citizen however, has a more interesting dial, a great movement, better story IMO. I also think (even though they are similar in size) the Citizen looks smaller because the dial is narrower and the indices are large. I'd argue the case back is also more elegant with the limited edition engraving and the movement looks better without the large gold rotor. Personally, I connect with the Citizen story - something completely missed - it is based in history; Verses, the non descript Presage. There you have it.

How much water resistant?
Hardlex is slightly harder than normal mineral crystal, but your hardness test isnt precise enough to pick up the difference. Hardlex would be 7.8 and regular mineral 7.3 or something. In terms of material hardness, between 7 and 8 is a huge difference.

Great watch, good quality and with a fair price… The only con is the strap, not so good quality… I think that’s where they save some money to offer us a good quality watch!

Like, although I prefer a positive display. I like the simplicity of the dial, compared to a much colorful standard model (I have). Considering now the one you have there and swapping the modules with the classic one. Once you buy these little things you keep buying mode models 😀

Ive seen this test performed several times and both scratch at 5. Not just minor scrathes either.
