TDtangents

Mostly nature and animal videos - sometimes including facts about what you're watching, and sometimes just letting the video speak for itself. Some of my work has been featured by The Dodo, appeared in Aly & AJ's music video "Listen!!!", used in nature TV shows, and can be seen in museum exhibits around the world. Plus, I throw some other kinds of videos in every once in a while to keep things interesting. Thanks for subscribing, and please like and share your favorite videos. I really appreciate it.

I'm watching the period cicadas emerge and I just wanted to see the whole process sped up. It takes a long time before these little ones completely molt

I’m utterly fascinated with this process. I love when they start to come out during the early summer and I will go out at night and try to find ones I can photograph. But, I am irrationally terrified of them 😆. If one of them ever actually touched me I would totally lose my shit. Even photographing a few hundred of them hasn’t helped me get over my fear.

I remember seeing these exoskeletons stuck to a tree once when i travelled as a kid and i thought they were dead cicadas until i googled and found out about the molting process. Amazing

In Kentucky, the ladybugs infest your house, then these guys show up to eat them, and then praying mantis show up to eat them, it's really cool.

I almost destroy new generation, fortunately i checked it first with google lens. I feel relieved and bit safer now, since they're naturl predator of aphids.

DOES WEBWORMS GET INSIDE OF YOUR HOUSE AND DEVOUR THE PAINT OFF OF YOUR WALLS? AND THE REASON WHY I AM ASKING YOU ALL THIS QUESTION IS BECAUSE IN THE YEAR OF 2001 WE HAD WEBS IN ONE OF OUR TREES. AND A TRIANGULAR SHAPE COCOON WAS IN ME AND MY MOTHER'S BEDROOM BECAUSE ME AND MY MOTHER WERE SHARING A BEDROOM TOGETHER AND I HAVE SEEN A BROWN TRIANGULAR SHAPED COCOON AT THE TOP LEFT CORNER OF OUR BEDROOM WINDOW AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW DO WEBWORMS MAKES A TRIANGULAR SHAPED COCOON?
