    Christians must not be judgemental about Christians

  • @Jess.E.
    @Jess.E.21 сағат бұрын

    Hi Albert, That’s not what the Bible says about Christians judging Christians. The Bible addresses judgment within the body of Christ with a focus on maintaining purity, accountability, and righteousness among believers. Here are some relevant passages: 1. 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 (NIV): “What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. ‘Expel the wicked person from among you.’” This passage emphasizes the responsibility of the church to address and discipline immoral behavior within its own community. 2. Galatians 6:1 (NIV): “Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.” Believers are encouraged to correct others with gentleness and humility, being mindful of their own vulnerabilities. There are also more passages that address this.

    I'm so thankful for churches that go through the bible instead of topical sermons. I was in topical churches and the bible was so blah and boring. It was only when I discovered a through the bible church that the scripture came alive in my heart and it's been a burning desire since. I have a reading disability, so I'm so thankful there are pastors that read the scripture and it's comes alive and I can listen to it. If I read it myself , I WOULD NEVER GET OUT OF IT WHAT I HEAR THESE PREACHERS GET OUT OF IT.

    I’ve been literally crying about this for a few years now. It really hurts his feelings. Therefore mine too. Once I got so angry about a church having a light show instead of true prayer service that I was forced to rebuke them about it and leave.

    1 Corinthians 14:1-3, 19, 27 & 28 "1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.... 19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue... 27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. Why is there so much emphasis on speaking in "unknown" tongues, yet little focus on the interpretation of tongues . . . without the interpretation of tongues, none are edified.

    I was about to exercise and tune into KZread music but ended up listening to your Podcast, so I listened and watched, then trained after while listening to your podcast again - I've NEVER trained without music till today. Ended playing it a third time and now a fourth. " _When we in the word we're actually in prayer_ " " _When is the easiest time to pull a plant out of the ground is when it's young?"_ I also heard with my ears how social media is a tool, you're so right. Although shouldn't we practice Romans 14:1 "As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him but not to quarrel over opinions." I also LOVE how you John and Lisa are accepting your elder age, it shows the action of humility by allowing your natural white hair to grow. Whenever I am looking for a wise person, I go by what the Bible leads me to and that is by going to those whose hair is white. Those with white or grey hair from age are clear markers to me that they are for God, elders of self-control and disciplined, it's clear you've died to yourself on a daily basis and your hair and your slimness shows the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Jesus did say we'll know them by their fruit. You're of the good tree and the Beveres have corrected and helped me navigate my way to that narrow path. Better open rebuke of a friend then a kiss of the enemy. Any elder who covers their white hair tells me of their maturity. So thank you for following the Holy Spirit and putting Christ first. It's a relief. Arden did bring some interesting points about how media is attractive now due to social media but it all boils down to the agenda of the heart and the right character and to whom and why we're on the platform in the first place. I will remember "If I'm serving, I don't get nervous." Staying focused on Jesus does remove those self-centeredness of the "I".

    This is a good teaching. I decided to get baptized again about 5 years ago. About 4 years ago I was praying for the gift of tongues and had been doing so fer several month. I told an elder in the church I was going to at the time about this desire. One day a few weeks later, he stood up to give testimony about something and part way through this testimony, he turned and pointed across the church to me and said, "And Michael, you are going to start saying hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah and you will start praying in tongues. Several days later on a Saturday, I thought about this and I asked God to fulfill this prophecy. I started saying hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah and stumbled over my tongue a couple of times. I stopped and thought, "Was this it? Did I pray in tongues or did I just stutter?" The following Wednesday morning, I tired it again. This time I broke out praying in tongues at 1:05 AM and I prayed in tongues for almost 3 hours without ceasing. Sometimes I was overcome with great feeling of joy. Other times it was sadness and still other times it was anger. One thing I noticed was how different the language was when I was feeling so angry that I was shaking my fists violently. I learned later that this is referred to as warfare tongues. Having studied several languages, I could tell where one sentence began and ended. I could tell the different words in the sentence. I do not know what they mean, but I can recognize a language when I hear one. It does take faith to know that God will give you tongues. The testimony from the elder, naturally, reinforced my faith which I believe is why I was able to speak in tongues so soon after he told me that when I had been praying for it for about 4 months up until then. Believe in the scripture and you will see the truth in God's word. Don't let the devil steal from you this intimate time with our Father in Heaven. He is our Poppa. Spend time with Him.

    Thank you so much for all these lessons! I've been watching this course over and over again, and God has been talking to me so greatly. The personal experience you shared at the end of this video has impacted me so much. God asked me to launch a KZread channel to share his Word (in Portuguese) almost two years ago. And, even though it hasn't been growing as fast as I wish, I am sure that I am being obedient, and people have been impacted by the Holy Spirit. May God bless you, your family, and this amazing ministry.

    This changed my life… I didn’t know that I had such hate in my heart. I literally thought this person wasn’t deserving of God’s love. How dare I think like that😣 I thought he better not get married before me, wow. Never thought this was in my heart but I asked God to search it and now I’m so beyond grateful.

    Let's make some word corrections. These people aren't leaving their faith they're leaving God's truth. They can't get the full truth in a trinitarian church where their leaders went to seminary. They're looking for truth they're not leaving their faith. Let's just make that clear

    Here I am... Ready to cross off yet another Christian teacher that has had influence on my life because of false teaching... From the title, "I'm going to be bigger than them" I was getting ready to hear John preach about how we need to be bigger than our giants, bigger than depression, bigger than cancer, etc COMPLETELY discarding the fact that God is the One who is bigger than all these things, NOT MAN... BUT i got humbled, hearing a completely biblical and theologically correct video teaching me about humility... Thank You Lord for Your mercy 🙏

    I feel this and I've learned bot theow the bay with the bath water. I haven't heard one minister where there not one thing that someone will not agree with. I've learned that if one says something I don't agree with that doesn't mean I still can't learn from them on other things. I realized that if I keep canceling ministers in my mind then I can miss what God can teach me through his servants.
